These were composed and transmitted over time, primarily through oral tradition before being written down.\u00a0The focus of the Vedas is broad. They include observations of natural forces, structured rituals, and early attempts to understand order, pattern, and continuity.<\/p>\n<p>As explored in the concept of Rta, there is a clear recognition of underlying order in the world. This recognition appears repeatedly in Vedic thought.\u00a0The Vedas, therefore, are not limited to ritual.
