The wingsuit creates the airfoil shape with fabric sewn between the legs and under the arms. It is also called a birdman suit. Loïc Jean Albert est une figure incontournable de cette discipline, grâce à son travail de développement et à son talent, il a permis à cette discipline de progresser énormément, et surtout de se populariser, tout comme l'avait fait Patrick de Gayardon à son époque. Loïc est ainsi parvenu, grâce au prototype qu'il développe, à survoler une pente enneigée à moins de 3 mètres de hauteur près de Verbier en Suisse. Les derniers prototypes permettent d'atteindre une finesse de 4 (4 km horizontaux pour 1 km vertical de parcouru).
