The fastest sport stacking doubles cycle stack is 7.58 seconds and was achieved by Andrew Purugganan and Steven Purugganan (both USA), at the 2009 WSSA World Sport Stacking Championships Denver, Colorado, USA, on 19 April 2009 The fastest sport stacking timed 3-6-3 relay is 12.72 seconds and was achieved by Team USA (Joel Brown,Luke Myers, Steven Purugganan and Alex Schumann) (all USA) at the 2009 WSSA World Sport Stacking Championships Denver, Colorado, USA, on 19 April 2009. Finally made this for 2011! Whew, I have a lot to say. I wasn't originally going to make one this year, but because it's a tradition, and because I want to prove I'm not dead, I decided to execute it. The rendering took FOREVER, mostly because of the 3D effects, so that's why this wasn't uploaded sooner. Keep in mind that this is very opinionated and is in no way an 'official' representation of the best sport stacking videos of 2011. I would love to see any other top ten videos, and I would love to hear your favourite clips of the year in the comments! I also realize that one of the videos included doesn't really contain physical stacking, but I thought it should be included. I think only two videos can be argued about their spot, but other than that, I believe this list was quite accurate in terms of position. All videos had a specific reason why they were included on the list. Special thanks to Kyla for helping me with the list. I didn't really see a lot of stacking videos over the last 10 months, so it was really difficult creating the list on my own. Also, I am going to the Rochester stacking tournament on January 28th, and if anyone is looking for a relay member, I would be glad to discuss becoming a team with you. 30 minutes? Goal achieved. Wooooow, one of the best weekends of my life. Props to anyone who watches the whole thing, but it's worth trying to watch it all, as most of us are usually doing nothing on the computer every day. =P And most of you watched Kony 2012 which is only a minute shorter than this short film. I also got 5th overall, which I'm actually really pleased about tbh. 3-3-3: In prelims I felt a little bit cautious about 1.83 for some reason because I thought getting into finals was harder this year, somehow it wasn't. In finals, SOC WOO! But ugh, this is like the 1st time I tied my UK record. Finn got 1.72 so I tried to beat 1.69. 3-6-3: In prelims, woah. In finals, WHAT?! I felt like I fumbled when I upstacked the 6 on my 2.13. SOC WOO! For the first time since like 2010, Finn beat one of my UK Records. He got 2.22 so I just tried to get it back. But I didn't really expect getting it back by a huge jump from 2.25 to 2.13. O_O. Cycle: Why can't I actually get a good time in Cycle Finals? If only I went as fast as my prelims, all I needed was a 6.61 to get 2nd overall. :@ Doubles (Prelims only): We suck, bad. that was the only day we had practice with each other. Yep, a nice short video. It's only snowed like 3 times since last winter, so I figured I might as well make one of these now. Yes I know the times suck lol, but that's for a few reasons: 1) It was cold 2) The snow made my cups stick after 5 minutes 3) It was cold 4) My hands would go numb after like 10 minutes 5) IT WAS COLD Oh and I worked semihard on the editing because I knew I probably wouldn't do this again for a while (if ever), so I wanna make this a little special. I did really good there! I got first in 3-3-3 with a 1.61. I tied my record in SOC!!! I cam first in 3-6-3 with a 2.06. .03 away from my record! Tied the non-stuffed up World record. Tied Chandler too! I came 3rd place in cycle :/ I wish that the 5.66 was clean though. Overall I had a 9.70! My best in a competition!

Woah. Now THAT was unexpected. I WAS aiming for a new record, expecting a 5.53-5.55, but... 5.47? 0.09 jump. Awesomeness. It all started out when I decided to try out the faster 6-6 downstack (dropping all but one cup in each hand into the 10 pile) and I randomly got 5.61. So I record for a new record and within five minutes I get this. Later I realized, that after my effort to jump back into the top ten... I'm 11th. One hundreth of a second off Polly. Ouch. On the bright side, my overall is now 9.02, that makes me... 9th? Right? So I guess that's cool. I'm not that far from an 8 overall, woo. I guess you shall enjoy this video. 333: fail 363: pretty good cycle: pretty good doubles: How did we do that O_O we couldn't even get 9s at the warmup tables... relay: pretty awesome How did I get 6.25 in prelims :O Best times practicing were 1.68, 2.22, 5.94. The last part is when all of us were sitting around and there was no one there, we were waiting for them to pass out overall awards xD If only Beau didn't fumble and it wasn't a scratch...

The WSSA is pleased and excited to announce that Team USA member Mike McCoy, 15, trumped the long-standing 5.93 Cycle record with a lightning fast time of 5.91 seconds. It was set at the fourth annual Connecticut State Sport Stacking Championships in Baltic on December 3, 2011.
