RUSSELL CALKINS IS THE VERY FIRST WORLD CHAMPION SKY SURFING DEMO TITLE HOLDER IN HISTORY 1992. ESPN SHOW SKYBLAZIN AIRED IN 1993, AND WAS THE VERY FIRST WORLD CHAMPION EVENT FOR SKYSURFING. IT WAS HOSTED BY DON SWAYZE. BONUS BLOOPER AT THE END OF THIS FOOTAGE, IS JOHN PETERS, A FRIEND THAT MADE A CRASH LANDING ON A DEMO JUMP FOR A GM COMMERCIAL. Compilation of Russell Calkins skysurfing over Skydive Arizona in 1992. Video'ed with Hi-8, edited using two Panasonic prosumer Super VHS VCR's, basic time controller and Amiga PC based character generator. Produced and edited by Bill Voelker, a freefall photographer who made over 1200 skydives that year.
