Day 2: The real adventure begins . . . we leave the comfort of a modern city and dive right into the sand, sort of . . . we travel to Ica, 4 hours south of Lima, where we would explore some Peruvian culture, ride around in collectivos, and visit the desert oasis of Huacachina. We take an afternoon dune buggy ride, and ride down some of the world's largest sand dunes via a piece of wood w/velcro straps. On my very last day in Australia, I got together lots of friends from the house I lived and we went on a day trip from Sydney to Port Stephens! We did wine tasting, sand boarding and a dolphin cruise. On this video we do sand boarding! Port Stephens is a large natural harbour located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) north-east of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. It lies wholly within the Port Stephens Local Government Area (LGA) although its northern shoreline forms the boundary between the Port Stephens and Great Lakes LGAs. More than 26000 people live within 3 km (1.9 mi) of its 113 km (70 mi) long shoreline and more than 32000 live within 10 km (6 mi) of Port Stephens.
