VeniaminShows.com Winter's Holiday in Romania, our first fly, Paragliding from Postavaru to Poiana Brasov, the most popular Romanian ski resort and an important tourist center preferred by many tourists not only from Romania, but also from Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and other European states. It is located at about 1312 yards (1200 m) above sea level near the city of Braşov in Romania and it is easily accessible by road. There are regular buses operated by Braşov Transit (RAT Braşov) which play the 12 km route between Braşov and Poiana Braşov. The resort also runs minibuses to take visitors from hotels to the base of the ski runs from where they can hike or take a cable car to Cristianu Mare or Postăvaru summits. Poiana Braşov is surrounded by four mountains the already mentioned Postăvaru (1799 m), Piatra Craiului (2238 m), Bucegi (2505 m) and Piatra Mare (1848 m). Poiana Braşov has a temperate-continental climate. The average temperature in summer is 20 °C and in winter -4 °C. There is a snow cover of about 50-60 cm which lasts from mid-November until mid-March, for about 120 days a year. However one can expect snowfalls since the end of September.

Powered paragliding extreme pilot SUPERJORDAN is an expert with a paraglider and now takes his first flights foot launching a paramotoring unit along with the Air Trike paramotor trike. A testament to the most advanced equipment and training makes it "so easy a child can do it". A paramotor is an ultralight aircraft and does not require a pilots license. The Flat Top paramotor is one of the only units to pass all of the very strict WPPGA safety certifications and zero deaths have ever been reported on WPPGA certified equipment. Be aware that not all equipment and training is created equal though. Much of the equipment on the market is so poorly designed that injury & death are very commonplace. Also since one doesn't need a license to be an "instructor" there are many out there claiming to be instructors that have never had a single day of instruction themselves and don't even have the most basic skills or understanding of the sport. A few of these types of people who kept losing customers to the master pilots and extremely experienced instructors created a scam organization call the usppa so that they could pretend they were "certified" when in fact they still have never gone though even one single day of real training with qualified instructors. Pal Takats and his co-pilot Gabor Kezi attempt the first ever tandem infinite tumble. As the first Tandem-Duo in the world, they attempt a real loop with their bi-place-parachute in Walensee (Lake of Walen) in Switzerland. The adventure started high in the mountains in approx. 5900 ft., where the fields where green and the surrounding amazing. After take off they were able to do 45 loops in a row, flying straight with the parachute. With that first premier, the test pilots from U-Turn showed what Aerodynamics never expected. Real loops with a parachutes are possible, not only with hard wings. "Of course, the borders of physics are set, but where exactly we still have to find out," says Ernst Strobl, Chef-Developer of U-turn. With a modified Acrobatic-Parachute, Takats, one of the world bests acrobatic-pilots, already did various loops, called Infinity Tumbles. It was really tough. "Due to longer lines, the way to pass for both pilots was even longer each loop." Takats explains. For us it was about 6 G.
