Shaolin Plum-Blossom (Mei Hua) Kung fu
Duration : 2581 Seconds

"The Shaolin Traditional Kung fu" series By: Shi De Jun Plum-Blossom Boxing (Mei Hua Quan) is one of excellent routines of traditional Shaolin Wushu. Actions of this routine are concise, with integral structure and distinctive style. When performed or practiced, thrust in the front and strike at the back, jump from the left and fall to the right; the actions heave and set, always changing, and the postures are interlinked. Because this routine takes the shape of a plum blossom it is named plum-blossom quan, and is suitable for a person who already has a base in wushu performance or practice.

Luke Kretschmann 梅花大刀洪家拳Hung Gar Mei Hua Da Dao
Duration : 96 Seconds

Hung Gar Plum Blossom Hook Sword. The good points of this traditional Hung Gar long weapon is that it really trains the front lead leg stance in conjunction with forward movements, notice the retraction of the lead leg after each strike has been made. This sword is fairly heavy so it is also a good work out.
