I got this nifty little puzzle yesterday while I was out searching for a Rubik's UFO.. it is very easy but I figured I would show people how to do it anyways. I am self taught with logic, but someone probably beat me to this method, so I guess I probably can't take credit for it. = ) Wow! This tutorial, considering it was my first and that no one cares about this puzzle, has done quite well. This was the original stepping stone that got me into making tutorials in the first place... I didn't know enough about Rubik's Cube to make a convincing tutorial, so I thought I would play it safe and make this instead. I went over the video and added annotations which highlight the working areas during the solve! Hopefully that makes the explanation even more obvious than it already is! Quick demo of the Rubik's Fifteen puzzle. This was produced in the early 90's alongside the Rubik's Tangle, Triamid, and Dice puzzles. Objective here depends on the side, (the two can not be solved simultaneously.) Red, to arrange the tiles in the familiar Fifteen-puzzle arrangement. Yellow, to make a magic-square, all rows, columns, and diagonals each add up to 15. Sometimes the sliders stick and need to be coaxed into moving. ;) Before anyone asks... No, I don't know where you can buy one. And no, I don't know how to solve it either.
