The three event riders of Riddermark Stables decided to have a competition. We galloped 2 miles of cross country and then jumped a show jumping course a few times. We decided dressage wasn't necessary. Sorry I didn't get any of the cross country, but we didn't jump, just galloped! Lizzie (me) and Make You Speechless Thoroughbred Mare) Angela and Wild Wishbone (Appaloosa Stallion) Sage and Fancy (Welsh Pony Cross Mare) Please critique if you wish, but we are not professional riders and made this video to learn from our mistakes and get better, so please, nothing harsh. We know we aren't perfect.

This week, a combined training of the IAF and the Hellenic Air Force took place in Greece. This training included flight and landing in mountainous terrain and under changing weather conditions. In the video, you will see parts of a training mission designed to simulate an event of attack by an enemy force during flight. The objective was to safely extract the unit offended, and was fully achieved through the cooperation of both forces.

The Eastern States Dressage and Combined Training Association held its 2006 Annual Forum in October in New Jersey. This forum featured Mariette Withages, Chair of the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) Dressage Committee and "O" judge together with Hubertus Schmidt, German Dressage National Champion, Olympic rider, trainer and coach. In this session Mariette Withages provides the comments on the FEI Training Scale of horses. Hubertus Schmidt provides genral outlines regarding the warm-up of the horse. "Tanner" is a well rounded, 14.1 7/8 hh, buckskin pony. He has shown extensively in the hunter ring (WT thru Large ponies). Tanner is a great mover, auto changes, and excellent ground manners. He clips, ties, loads, stands for farrier and vet, etc. He has a permanent pony card but is still eligible green. Tanner has shown mainly at "C" shows, but has done well at "A" shows as well. He was shown short stirrup at the Blowing Rock Charity Show and was also short stirrup champion at the Raleigh Indoor "A". Tanner has also done very well outside the hunter ring. He has competed in Combined Training Events and has been cross-country schooling many times (could easily compete beginner novice). Talented and flashy, always catches the judges attention.
