Rules Scoring / How to play Bossaball can be played in teams of 3 or 4 or 5 players. The aim of bossaball is for each team to ground the ball on the opponent's field. Each team is entitled to a maximum of 8 contacts with the ball on its own field, meanwhile the trampoline jumper gains height to prepare a (spectacular) smash. Any body part can be used. Players can touch the ball only once with their hands, or double touch it with their feet and/or head. Once a team grounds the ball on the inflatables it gains 1 point. Scoring on the trampolines is worth 3 points. Hitting the bossawall (= the inflatable rings around the trampolines) doesn't count as a score, so the rally continues. Bossaball mixes sports with music. Bossaball referees have a whistle, a microphone, various percussion instruments and a dj set. They referee the game and add riveting tunes to take it to a higher level. They're the Masters of Ceremony. Players play to the music / The music follows the game. www.bossaball.com

KUWAIT TIMES The Brazilian Bossaball team is flying back to Rio de Janeiro jubilant, after winning the Cup at the first Zain International Bossaball Tournament. Brazil, Spain, AUK and GUST were the four teams competing in the tournament. Spain vs. AUK : Spain winning 25-9/25-12 Brazil vs. GUST : Brazil winning with 25-13/ 25-15. final match Brazil - Spain : Brazil winning 25-15/25-21. The teams were able to prove to the crowd, that Bossaball is a game that is not only enjoyable for the players but also for the spectators. Watching the players' nimble agility on the inflatable bouncers and trampolines while showing off their volleyball, football and gymnastics skills was by far the most entertaining scene for the spectators. The players were able to get the spectators hooked on to the game right from the very first serve of the first game. Instead of just hitting the ball with their hands, some of the players showed off their creative serves and playing techniques which included flipping around with the ball between their legs before tossing it over to the other side. Bossaball is considered one of the newest games in the world's sports arena. The game which is a combination of football, volleyball and gymnastics was invented three years ago.
