AAU Region 12 Track Meet National Championship Qualifier June 26-29, 2009 Central College Track, Pella, Iowa. *Included athletes from IA, NE, MN, KS, SD and likely others. Noah earned GOLD in 100m hurdles and bronze in 200m hurdles. Jonah, bronze in 100m dash and sixth in long jump: 12" shorter then his PR. Great meet. Both boys qualified in TWO events for the AAU National Championships at Drake Stadium.

It was the most exciting competition in the history of athletics. We write the 30 August 1991 World Championships in the Olympic Stadium of Tokyo. Powell and Carl Lewis also surpassed the world record of her legendary compatriot Bob Beamon with 8,90 m at that time were hailed as the jump into the next century, established since 18 October 1968 at the Olympic Games in Mexico City. 2008 Varsity Highlights of the track team in Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, Oregon (the town and school where Steve Prefontaine grew up and ran for). This was a stellar and very exciting year, with lots of ups and downs. But we finished the season with our boys winning the 5A state championship for the first time in over 100 years. This didn't even happen when Steve Prefontaine was running here. Our girls also did an awesome job. With only 4 representatives at state, they placed 3rd. Song is Downfall by Trust Company. Best was a sophomore here, good thing cuz he got a LOT faster. Alex won the 100, 200 long jump and 4 x 100 at this meet for 4 gold medals--one of a very few to ever do this.
