But hey, what really matters is the love for skating and to get more recognision for this sport! ARTISTIC ROLLER SKATING NEEDS MORE PUBLICITY. And I believe that it starts with us, roller skaters. Lots of people don't even know this sport exists. Let's use our imaginations and show it to the world! We can start with Youtube, upload ARS videos and get the most views you can! Let's try to make the championships (such has the World's) have more people watching there and maybe play on tv and have good audience (like figure skating). Let's try!!!! :)

Sorry it's so shaky. My mom and I were fighting over who got to watch and who had to film. This year's Heart-throb was a Brazilian skater skating for Redwood City, CA. I wish I was a man so I could do him. Don't be dumb and comment something like "he sucks, he only does singles and and hardly spins" Duh. Its Creative Solo Dance, you're only allowed 3 jumps, all one rev and 3 spins, 3 revs.

Emma Trent works on her figures routine during a practice Thursday at Empire Roller Rink with her coach John Peck, of Chicago. Although she also competes at lower levels in competitions such as pairs and dancing, figures is the event Trent is focused on. She is trying to be one of two people in the country to qualify for the Roller Figure Skating World Championship in the figures event this November in Brazil. Practising and learning artistic skating also means falling. No falls, no artistic skating and no learning. Gotta be tough! Here are my best falls trying to learn the double salchov. I never broke a bone or hurt myself (not even black & blue) and will continue 'hitting the deck'!
