God called Bob Tyson to leave his home in Villa Rica, Georgia and travel to a land he had never heard of. After arriving in Nicaragua, he knew that without God's help he would surely fail. Little did he know, that 40 years later, this mission would grow into a massive force with hundreds of pastors and churches throughout Central America with Eleven Christian Radio Stations, Five Christian Schools, and thousands of hungry children being fed everyday. We also prepare and support National Pastors for the ministry in our Bible School in Honduras. There are 240 Churches established with men called by God to win their own people to the Lord. Bob Tyson in 2007 went on to be with the Lord. His sons Philip and Steve Tyson and his wife Joan Tyson are now leading the work. We are not just a mission board, we are a Baptist Ministry with the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Lost in Honduras ...

www.earthcds.com Going upriver in a dugout canoe with a 40hp engine up class 2+ to 3- rapids. Just one 9 hour journey out of many adventures during my 6 week trip in Nicaragua. This leg was from La Cruz de Rio Grande to San Pedro de Norte, then a school bus (flat tire out in the middle of nowhere) to Rio Blanco for a little sleep. Other forms of travel were bus, high speed boat, mule, foot, taxi, school bus, minivan and cargo boat. I traveled way off the beaten path, to villages only accessible by boat, foot or horse to find authentic and rarely heard music to bring back to you.
