The New Jerusalem Land Bank is located high in the mountains of Nicaragua, and is one of several land banks that offers a chance for landless farmers to buy their own land at a reasonable price. The participants in the land bank also recieve training on a variety of things related to agriculture, starting with a Biblical worldview. This film was originally planned, filmed, and edited by the community members themselves during a week of training using the Insightshare.org process. Caracas, Venezuela (NTN24) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and other leaders of the eight-nation Bolivarian Alliance bloc, or ALBA, condemned on Sunday what they called the "systematic interference" of foreign countries in Syria's political future. "ALBA chiefs of state condemn the systematic interference and destabilisation policies in Syria to impose on the Syrian people a change of regime," Chavez said at the conference on Sunday. "The ALBA's countries condemn the violent acts against the Syrian people, taken by 'irregular' groups supported by foreign countries," he told the heads of state at the meeting in Caracas. During the summit, Chavez also predicted that the US, the United Nations and the Organisation for American States would likely not recognise his victory in the presidential elections in October as legitimate, even when polls indicated an easy win for his party. He told the heads of state that he could imagine their response: "'In October, Chavez lost. There was fraud.' And they will try to destabilise us, because what the United States wants is the Orinoco Belt, because there...there is oil there for the next 200 years."
