In Swakopumund there are architectural treasures that were rented out in the days of the Kaiser and are reminiscent of various houses in Berlin. Thanks to Couchsurfing I met Dalene, Katendi, and Phillip while visiting Windhoek, Namibia. They drove me all over the city, fed me kapanna, took me to a shabeen (small pub), and sang country music to me (Kenny Rogers, to be precise).
