Previuosly there is only 3 trips like this in a week but now there is daily trip for this DBP to Muong Khoua. So if you missed the 5.30am bus, just get another one the next morning. There are few GH which is walking distance near to the bus station. Price range between 6 to 10 USD. Spectaculous view along the road from DBP to Muong Khoua and hell of experience being pack into the bus with the locals and natives and the goods. The minibus is a twelve seater but there are nearly 30 of us in it once and with those boxes and bags. It is unbeleivable but I like it :), so do the locals and they thought as a Malaysian I would never take this bus the second time, well they are wrong. I would certainly come back for this anytime :). Tay Trang Vietnam border gate is in the middle of the wood. A distance of 3km away is the Phongsaly Laos border gate also in the middle of the wood. Malaysian do not need visa to enter Laos anymore, previously we are required. We got our 30days as a tourist and that's normal. Junta wojskowa w 1989 r. przyjęła jako angielskie tłumaczenie nazwy kraju formę Myanmar (Union of Myanmar) w zamian dotychczasowej formy Burma (Union of Burma), przy czym zmianie nie uległa nazwa birmańska Myanma. Ponieważ zmiana nazwy angielskiej nie została zaaprobowana przez żaden organ ustawodawczy Birmy, nowa forma nie jest uznawana przez część krajów. Zaakceptowała ją jednak ONZ. W Polsce zgodnie z wytycznymi Komisji Standaryzacji Nazw Geograficznych od 2002 powinno używać się tradycyjnej nazwy Birma (Związek Birmański), z zastrzeżeniem, że w tekstach oficjalnych używa się nazwy Związek Myanmar, przyjętej przez Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych. Junta wojskowa rządzi krajem, z niewielkimi przerwami, od 1962 r., kiedy to zamachu stanu dokonał generał Ne Win. W 1988 r. Ne Win zrezygnował z władzy, lecz ta nadal pozostała w rękach wojska (m.in. wskutek unieważnienia demokratycznych wyborów w 1990 r.). On the opposite shore of the Ayeyarwady in the centre of Burma are the Sagaing Hills. The history of Sagaing dates back to the beginning of the 14th century, when the royal city of Bagan fell and the city became the new capital of Burma. However, its importance as a centre of power was short-lived, yet around 50 years later the newly founded Inwa became the capital of the Burmese Empire. More than 700 hilltop and valley monasteries have made Sagaing one of the world's most important centers of Buddhism. The Pa Ba Kyaung Monastery is situated on Sagaing's western hills and is surrounded by two elevations, a place of tranquility and meditation. Peaceful and serene, the statues and Buddha images appear to stare into the very soul of all those who come here. It is not surprising that for nearly 800 years, the region's pagodas have attracted the faithful as well as tourists from around the world.

The idea of travel came to me two days after the acquisition of Bachelor of Science degree in zoology, botany and anthropology at the University of Calcutta. I decided that I must first travel around the home state, to inspect the northern part of India. I had a chance to get to Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar. And discover one country after another, I realized that I wanted to see the whole world! Now I'm 26 years old, my journey would end in 10 years ,Moldova - 42 th country, where I visited. The first person with whom I met in Moldova, was a woman of 40 years. A very wise and open. Seeing as I buy bread, she offered me food. You have a very hospitable people. I appreciate this openness, kindness, innocence in people . By the end of travel 110.000 km ... The most dangerous adventure was meeting with the Taliban. I was kept in captivity for 24 days, it happened when I was traveling on Afghanistan from Kabul to Herat. Over the 4 days I wake up in a dark basement, except that no longer saw anything. So I doubt that I am still alive. A few days later I was able to talk with someone who understood a little in English. After three weeks of captivity, the sunlight is literally blinded me .
