"Pan Padauk Toh Kyway Yar Myay", a famous Myanmar radio song, performed by Yadana Oo together with pianist Sandaya Aung Win at Myanmar American Medical Education Society's 7th Annual Musical Gala Dinner on December 18, 2010 in New York City. The Cho Pyone's original was a hit in the late 60's. The Myanmar American Musical Arts Society presented the entertainment program at that Gala Dinner. Thanks to MA Medical Education Society for promoting Myanmar music and culture.

More than 350 guests attended this years Thingyan concert. Dr. Myo Maw, on behalf of the society's president, opened the event at 11 AM, followed by continuous entertainment. One of the famous Myanmar Thangyan song, TuPoh was sung by Zaw Myint (UN) with Myanmar Dancers. In their elegant traditional dresses, dance team members, Aye Aye Maw, Mu Mu Win and Aye Mya Swe under the instruction of Maung Maung Myint Swe, one of the best dance teacher in Myanmar. The program was presented by Dr. Zaw Min Oo. Video credited to Thurein Win.

Myanmar American Musical Arts Society presented the Ka Byar Loot, basic of Myanmar tradition dance by Hnin Harmar at opening events on Aug 29, 2010. This society was founded in 2010 by a group of Myanmar Americans led by Dr. Zaw Min Oo, an Internist and Philanthropist to promote our Myanmar culture and arts and educate the masses of our heritage through Myanmar music. We can distinguish ourselves as Myanmar Americans rather than a relatively unknown part of Asian Americans in the United States by exhibiting our culture's music and dance. We believe that Myanmar music is representative of the Myanmar-American heritage, and it is important for us to maintain and promote Myanmar music especially its continued existence for future generations.

At the first Annual Golf Tournament event sponsored by Myanmar American Musical Arts Society on 9/05/10, Dr. Lin Lin Kin and the society's president, Dr. Zaw Min Oo gave welcome speech then Bryan Swe Tun and Dr. Oo presented the prizes to the winners. Dr. Lin Lin Kin won the first prize and prize for closest to the pin. Thirty three golfers participated the tournament which was held in Clearview golf course in Queens, NY. The tournament used system 36. After the dinner, Sandaya Aung Win, Hnin Haymar, Vivien Cheng, Zaw Myint and Yuzana presented the entertainment program. The society thanks to all the participants, their families and volunteers. This event was held at MAMAS office in Astoria, Queens, New York.
