This performance (သႀကၤန္ယိမ္း) is showcased as the unique trademark of our new year, celebrated as the water festival in the month of Tagoo (တန္ခူး). The concept behind the water festival is to wash away the sins from the old year by splashing water to each other so as to bring the individuals auspiciousness in the new year.
