The slideshow and movie show a visit by the daughters of Andre-Daniel Clerc, a Swiss missionary who spent 40 years at the Swiss Mission in Maputo, Mozambique, to the studio of Malangatana Ngwenya (Nguenha), the famous Mozambican painter. He had attended the Swiss Mission school for a while and knew Clerc - and one of his paintings had been given to Clerc as a retirement gift. He ended up sitting next to Antoinette Clerc at a ceremony honouring Eduardo Mondlane, Clerc's star pupil, who founded FRELIMO - and offered to translate proceedings.

Although he stayed in California for his college career (a degree in Religion and minor in Business at Vanguard University, Orange County), a single question radically directed Will overseas. When asked what his aspirations were after graduating in 2004, he responded with words that would direct the next few years of his life: "I am going to travel around the world." Will had answered better than he knew. It was only a short time later that Will connected with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a globally based Christian organization. By February 2005, Will was in New Zealand as part of a school called Around the World in 80 Days. English: CHRONICLES of YESTERDAY and TODAY was the model (dummy) for a Television project idealized, written and presented by the author Johnny Kraveirinya (alias João Craveirinha) in 1998-2000. Due to the lack of interest from the cultural institutions in Portugal (Europe) and Mozambique (Africa), the TV project didn't go further. The main idea was to develop it from Mozambique and its historical connections to other Portuguese speaking countries and related ones in the world. Countries in South America like Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. In West Africa: Angola, Cape Green Islands (Cabo Verde), Guinea-Bissau, Saint Tome & Prince Islands, Equatorial Guinea. In Asia: Goa and Mumbai (India), Malacca (Malaysia), Macau (China), and Kyoto (Japan), etc. All places where the Portuguese travelled or ruled. The video contains also some ethnic-historic information's of Southern Africa and the Portuguese colonial presence in East Africa and is connection with Goa in India. Although, 19 century old chronicles reports on whales' extinction in southern Mozambique by the Danish, Norwegian, British and USA sailors, among others. With scarce technical and financial resources, the project was initiated in 1998 in Mozambique (Southeast Africa) and updated in 2006 at a friend's house in Portugal. Johnny Kraveirinya is the author of mostly the paintings and drawings depicted in the video. Paintings by Roberto Chichorro Roberto Chichorro nasceu em 1941 em Lourenço Marques (Maputo, Moçambique). Dedicou-se desde cedo à pintura, onde expressa toda a magia das velhas histórias que foi ouvindo, ligadas a mundos mágicos de assombros, terrores e feitiçarias, mas também de bichos, música e encantos. Chichorro pinta constantemente estas lembranças de menino e fá-lo com uma paleta muito colorida em que os fundos "chagallianos" parodiados abrem ao olhar a intensidade de um mundo mágico, quase imponderável, flutuante. Trabalhou como desenhador de publicidade e arquitectura, e como decorador de pavilhões para feiras internacionais em Moçambique. Fez cenografias para espectáculos e ilustrou vários livros. De 1982/85 é bolseiro do Governo Espanhol, em Madrid, para cerâmica (Taller Azul) e zincogravura (Óscar Manezzi). Em 1986 é bolseiro do Governo Português, vivendo em Portugal desde essa data e dedicando-se exclusivamente à pintura. As unveiled by the Talk's title Paolo W. Tamburella is an Italian artist and filmmaker who works internationally on issues related to cultural identity and globalization. Scouted in 2001 by Annina Nosei, the legendary New Yorker gallerist, Tamburella made several projects over the United States and Europe also in India, Singapore and in the Union of Comoros Island. He currently lives and works between Rome and Dhaka in Bangladesh.
