| | Batman Forever died in Mozambique - Africa Duration : 48 Seconds Batman Forever is a 1995 American superhero film directed by Joel Schumacher and produced by Tim Burton. It is the third installment of the Batman film series and stars Val Kilmer as Batman. The plot focuses on Batman trying to stop Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and the Riddler (Jim Carrey) in their villainous scheme to drain information from all the brains in Gotham City. He gains allegiance from psychiatrist Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman) and orphaned ward Dick Grayson (Chris O'Donnell). The film had a change in tone compared to the previous installments, more family-friendly, since Warner Bros. considered that the previous film, Batman Returns, underperformed at the box office due to its violence and dark overtones. Production was troubled, with many actors considered for the main roles, and Kilmer entering in conflicts with the director and the rest of the crew. Batman Forever received mixed reviews upon release, but was a success with audiences, out-grossing Batman Returns with over $336 million worldwide and becoming the second-highest grossing film of 1995. This short video is a joke and was recorded in Manhiça - Mozambique - Africa. Please, enjoy it. | | Restoring Order in Madagascar Duration : 122 Seconds The Southern African Development Community says it will increase efforts to help restore political order in Madagascar. Internationally mediated talks failed for the island nation earlier this week. Southern African Development Community (SADC) Executive Secretary Tomaz Salomao says the group has appointed former Mozambican president Joaquim Chissano to lead the all-party dialogue. The group consists of the African Union, the United Nations, SADC, the International Organization of the Francophonie (IOF) and all the Malagasy political actors. Madagascar was suspended from the SADC regional grouping in March over Andry Rajoelina who took power in a move condemned as a coup by the international community. Rajoelina, 35, came to power in March when President Marc Ravalomanana stepped aside after intense pressure from the opposition and army chiefs. Ravalomanana insists he remains the legitimate leader of the Indian Ocean island and has rejected sharing power with Rajoelina. The African economic bloc COMESA said earlier this month a military intervention to restore constitutional order on the island could be an option. But SADC is looking for a peaceful resolution of the situation. SADC mediators sent to the island reported back during the course of the meeting after the African Union and United Nations suspended talks indefinitely citing a lack of political will. [Tomaz Salomao, SADC Executive Secretary]: "The extraordinary summit expressed its serious concerns on the ... Tags :NTD, Madagscar, SADC

| | The Man and the Boat Duration : 101 Seconds An art film (also known as art movie, art house film, or in the collective sense as art cinema) is typically a serious, noncommercial, independently made film aimed at a niche audience rather than a mass audience. Film critics and film studies scholars typically define an art film using a ...canon of films and those formal qualities that mark them as different from mainstream Hollywood films, which includes, among other elements: a social realism style; an emphasis on the authorial expressivity of the director; and a focus on the thoughts and dreams of characters, rather than presenting a clear, goal-driven story. Film scholar David Bordwell claims that "art cinema itself is a [film] genre, with its own distinct conventions." Art film producers usually present their films at specialty theatres (repertory cinemas, or in the US "arthouse cinemas") and film festivals. The term "art film" is much more widely used in the United States than in Europe, where the term "art film" is more associated with "auteur" films and "national cinema" (eg, German national cinema). Art films are aimed at small niche market audiences, which means they can rarely get the financial backing which will permit large production budgets, expensive special effects, costly celebrity actors, or huge advertising campaigns, as are used in widely-released mainstream blockbuster films. Art film directors make up for these constraints by creating a different type of film, which typically uses lesser-known ...
