| | Terraria Mongol gameplay part 2 : Land of Gods Duration : 698 Seconds Hi this is Mongolian culture & belief channel :) There is an idea of "Land of Gods", for Mongolian Buddhists land of gods or Buddha is called : 1. Deva-jin ( Deva is enlightened one, Jin -is usually word for "human" ) 2. Enkhjin-giin oron ( Land of Enkhjin is peaceful one, ) 3. Land of Jagar = India ( Burkhani oron Jagar. India is called the land of gods, because Buddhist gods are from india, Goddess Sarasvati and river Sarasvati is from India, ) -Somehow Mongolia is not land of Gods for them. So when they paint this PURE LAND, HOLY LAND, BLISS LAND, Buddhist Heaven they paint some buildings, somehow those buildings are Chinese style buildings. :) Why? Maybe it is because old Buddhists have never travelled to India and don`t know about Indian architecture. Buddhist Heaven seems to be quit sedentary and most popular sedentary architecture here in Mongolia is going to be Chinese. And all Buddhist temples are Chinese style. And in pure land there must be a swamp with Lotuses. Christians usually paint big golden gate and western style buildings with golden roofs. :) Ofcourse for a nomad, gods should be living in huge golden tents = Gers & Yurts. :) However if U use your Hammer of logic there is no buildings in Heaven, maybe there is nice garden ;) Tags :
