To protect the identities of the Mongolian actors, their faces are obscured by a khadag, a traditional blue scarf. CHAN: Khulan Chuluun was picked for her role as the fearless wife of Genghiz Khan by chance. She was queuing at the Chinese embassy in the Mongolian capital when a casting agent approached her. Two years later and soon she'll be queuing up at the Oscars. Let's take a look. STORY: [Khulan Chuluun, Actress]: "She asked me if I am Mongolian or not and I said Yes, she explained to me about the film and that they needed an actress and asked me if I wanted to try out for it. I said OK and that's how it happened." Then a student, she said the adjustment was hard. But, apparently everyone in Mongolia knows how to ride a horse. "Actually everything for me was difficult. The only easy thing for me was to ride a horse." The film has changed Chuluun's life completely. She married a Kazakh man who played a small role in it and is now settled in Kazakhstan. He apparently fell in love with her before they even meet, looking at her picture. Financed by Kazakh investors and shot by Russian director Sergei Bodrov, "Mongol" is about Mongol conqueror Genghiz Khan. It's been nominated for best foreign film at this year's Oscars, a first for Kazakhstan. At the Academy Awards in Hollywood on the 24th of February, it will compete against "The Counterfeiters" from Austria, "Katyn" from Poland, the Israeli war drama "Beaufort," and Russia's "12".

When young Bilike finds an ordinary ping pong ball, he and his friends take to flights of imaginative whimsy and embark on a journey to find the source of the mysterious unknown object. Unique in many ways! Mongol Atai-Hangai singers are very special according world standards. Being one of Mongolia's most exciting musical groups, they are wellknown around the world because of the fascinating sound of "throatsinging". Throatsinging seems to be a speciality at the Mongol Academy of Music which learns a technique of using your voice in a very non-traditional way. While their basis is traditional Mongolian music, Altai-Hangai has cooperated with jazz musicians, symphonic orchestras, dancers and actors at numerous venues in Germany, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, and Norway. Back in 1998 one of the members of best Dutch Bluesband Barrelhouse coincidentely caught their attention during a stay in Amsterdam. They decided to perform together and luckely for us on YouTube it was recorded for "Twee Meter Sessies", a Dutch television program. 'Hard Time Killing Floor', composed by Skip James, shows that the Mongol Altai Hangai goes very well together with tradition western blues. The cooperation with Barrelhouse is unique in many ways. Barrelhouse, with leadsinger Tineke Schoemaker, still performs this song on liveshows. I think it's thrilling to discover how they've managed to give this song an identity according their own standards. Indeed, unique in many ways! Title: 成吉思汗This is the opening video of the Chinese historical/epic drama series about the Mongolian emperor, Genghis Khan. The series tells the story of how he united all the nomadic tribes of Mongolia and later leading his troops to carve out the greatest land empire ever known on the Eurasian continent. Despite most actors/actresses being ethnic Mongols, this series is a Chinese production with the credits and dialogues in Mandarin Chinese. The original theme song to the opening video was just bland violin music with no vocals, so I decided to replace the background audio with Central Asian throat-singing music so as to make it more 'Mongol'. When overseas Filipino worker 9OFW) Terril Atienza's remains were flown back to the country last December 9, her heart was missing. Her whole body was bruised, beaten and burnt. Autopsy conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Medico-Legal Division further revealed that her other internal organs were "sectioned with missing portions". A rag was extracted from inside her body. In a press conference today, Atienza's family was joined by actors Jodi Sta. Maria and Allen Dizon in calling anew for justice for the 34 year old mother of four. Sta Maria and Dizon are lead actors in the upcoming movie, "Migarante (The Filipino Diaspora)", directed by Joel Lamangan and written by Bonifacio Ilagan.

Dear subscribers & friends, I will stop making these videos. I`m planing to stop in 2012. Good year to end something lol. My family members keep asking me "Be normal".
