On a little adventure, I took my Kawasaki ZRX 1200r out for a spin, only to find an entire town dedicated to different religions. I was surrounded by mosques, temples, churches. You name it, it was there. Also, there were mud huts, but across the street was a very wealthy replica village of the Qing dynasty. weird...

Mongolian is the nation who love music and melodies. Mongolia has a huge heritage and foundation of culture and music which has been generating from its ancient time. According to the ancient research work, anthropology and history, the origin of ancient Mongolian music, songs, fine arts and dances were showed a lot. Mongolian habilitation, traditional heritage and customs, its fresh nature and moralities have influenced to the Mongolian art work. Under the purpose to prevent our holy and wonderful art heritage from extinction and to save it by Khadag /Mongolian traditional cloth of blue and other colors which is given to respectful people or things/,we have established the art group named "Tenger Ayalguu or Sky Melody" in 1997. "Sky Melody" group has been making performances under the complex programs of tribe's art work, traditional Tsam dance /Mongolian religious traditional dance/, World alternative art and International national art works. All of the group members were graduated from the University of Culture and Art; we have been working and besides continuing our art work, we have been working for the universities as teachers. Seeing and interesting in our group's performances, you can see and introduce with wonderful performances such as short and long melody song, national musical instruments, khuumii magtaal / one kind of long melody song with one kind of national musical instrument/, acrobatics, buu /one kind of ancient religious performance/ and tsam dance ...

While traveling in Khentii Province (north-central Mongolia) over New Year's, my companions and I paid a visit to a nearby shaman. She was in her fifties, and had discovered her calling about two decades earlier. She let us film the ceremony where she was possessed by three different gods, at least two of whom were quite fond of vodka and tobacco. The third enjoyed candies.

Until the advent of communist rule, Mongolia was heavily influenced by Buddhism, with one in every three men serving as monks. Official atheism encouraged the destruction of monasteries and violent purges of religious orders. I know what ppl will ask! -What about ppl who can`t have children!? Every shaman & every Mongol lama will reply : -If you adopt a child it will become big buyan(=good act) A lots of those buyan acts and you soul will be saved!!! HAVE A CHILDREN This is almost non-religious tip to save your soul!. This is a duty of life/living. There are few simple Mongol tips to save your soul, if you are interested let me know! ;-) The idea that "creators are Evil, they feed on human souls, we are their livestock" is not accepted widely. Everyone likes to think that creator is loving and caring god. Mongolia is a special place where ppl have many ideas about HEAVEN EARTH & HELL. There is not one but many creation myths! Shamanism also differ in different places! The reason why Asians are called Mongoloids is : -You can find remains of early ppl in Mongolia(+Tsahar Mongolia+Buryat Mongolia). And indeed these remains look like MONGOLS!!!

The Mongols are the main focus of episode three of The History Hut, as we continue our look at Chinese history. In this episode, we discuss the role and status of women during the rise of the Mongols and give examples of some key women from the time. We also take a look at Mongolian religion, which was shamanistic, and how the Mongols showed remarkable tolerance for other religions. Turning to Genghis Khan - we examine his rise to power and the methods he used to unify the different clans and families, which included passing a code of behaviour called the Yasa. Once he managed to break kin ties and had people giving their loyalty to the Khan, he started planning his first major campaign. Enoy!
