He's already raced in seven GPs and of course is excited to return to F1 and prove to the world that he has his place at the top. On F1: "Formula One is the best. It's the highest level in motorsports, and of course every driver wants to race there." On getting a late start: "I started racing only when I was 14, which is quite late compared to everybody. But my dad really wanted me to take it as a game when I was a kid, and the day I asked to do some racing, he told me, first you have to be good at school, and then we will see." Any regrets? "Looking behind, I don't think it was a mistake. I'm happy with my career, I was always in the right time at the right place except Formula One. What's so great about racing? "It's a passion. It's inside of your body. When the engine starts and I am in the racing car, every vibration makes me feel the real time, the present time, and I like it a lot. It's something special. When you can control yourself, control your car, and make one piece with everything, it's just such a good feeling that you don't want to leave it!" What's it like in a Formula One paddock? Hymne Monégasque (in English: Monégasque Anthem) is Monaco's national anthem. Théophile Bellando de Castro wrote the lyrics and composed the music of the 1st edition of Hymne Monégasque in 1841, later Castil-Blaze modified the melody and made several other minor changes. In 1848 the National Guard, created by Prince Charles III, adopted Bellando's song and it became the March of the National Loyalists. In 1896 Charles Albrecht composed a new arrangement for piano, published by Tihebaux in Paris and called Air National de Monaco; in 1897 Decourcelle of Nice, printed an edition called 429 Hymne National de Monaco for piano. Years later, François Bellini orchestrated the song by Albrecht; this new arrangement for a trio was judged to be too long for people in 1900 and ceased being played. The modern version was created by Léon Jehin in 1914 and was played for the first time during the 25th anniversary of the beginning Prince Albert's reign. Finally in 1931 Louis Notari wrote the lyrics in the Monegasque language. Only the Monegasque lyrics are official, reportedly dating back to a request from the Prince. The official lyrics contain only one verse. (The anthem is not usually even sung at all, except for official occasions.)

While traveling so close to an international border, you can't help but wonder what lies on the other side. Why wonder when you can nip the curiosity in the bud and just go check it out! That is precisely what we did while in Calexico. We parked Windy in a safe spot and hoofed it across the border! That's right, we walked and we highly recommend it! Taxis in the city are easy to come by and you don't have to worry about overpriced rides. Mexicali is an industrial driven city and if you don't have a plan, you might not find much to do. There are a few historical buildings spread out around town and a couple of unique spots to explore. Most of the locals don't speak English which can be an additional road block. If you ask them what they do for fun well, they go elsewhere. Just a few hours away are the mountains and the ocean, which is where I would suggest you go if you are planning a trip. The traffic lines for cars to get out of Mexico can be crazy! Not only are you stuck for hours but the street vendors (aka harassers) can be a bit much. You can end up spending your last pesos on china made trinkets and spicy candy. As if all of that isn't enough, one guy even tried to sell me a puppy! Luckily on foot, it's easier to turn them down and you don't have to wait in line to get back to the good ol' USA. If you are thinking of making a run to the border, spend a day in Mexicali but continue your journey south. Have fun, be safe and don't forget to buy your Mexican insurance ...
