Famed watch designer Roger Dubuis welcomed more than 200 glamorous guests to Monaco for a night of glitz, glamour and watches. The star studded guest list was a who's who of the fashion, acting and art world. Stars included international style icon Daphne Guinness, renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin, actors Jamie Campbell Bower, James Purefoy and actress Bonnie Wright plus gallery owner Alexander Dellal. There was also an electrifying performance from Curtis Steigers. The guests were welcomed on the red carpet at the famous Hotel de Paris by Mr. Georges Kern, CEO of Roger Dubuis. Notes on aesthetics and structure This is a film actually based on my experiences and also from friends of mine as immigrants in New York. Most of what happens is based on real events. The movie is divided in two parts; one is Lucas' life in New Cork, where the actor interacts with people in their respective roles (acting), but they're not real actors. In the second part, he relates his tale in the argentine asylum and there the different characters are real actors. This is a short and entertaining film, with several video clip influences on the aesthetics that helps to detach it from its documentary image, providing the scenes with an incredible realism. Synopsis Argentina, nowadays. Dr. De Feo arrives to the center of mental sanity where he works to do his usual medical interviews. Once there, an inmate called Lucas Del Mar, who claims to be a movie director who made a movie in New York, called "peanuts One Dollar", comes to his attention. During the interview, Lucas tells the movie's plot to De Feo, who asks him what he did for a living before going to the USA. Lucas worked in an office in 2002 when he got suddenly fired, and at the same time his girlfriend left him too. He decided then to spend some of his compensation money in buying a plane ticket and going to New York, to pursue the American dream. Once arrived, his little money goes off quickly; being an illegal immigrant, he can't find a job and desperate, he phones his father in Argentina, who doesn't want to ...

Well that proves it! :D- Alexis showed no recognition to John or visa versa- so no way could he be Sam's father or brother- so let's just shove that theory clear out of the water- or better yet shoot it full of holes and drown it in the depths of the black, black sea where it belongs. ;-) Perhaps the references were just a nod to Port Charles (and their relationship as Calivia), as one interview I read with ME suggested. Or maybe Sam knew John's sister (when she was wild like his sis also must have been to run in Sonny's circle.)... Here is what I read: Regarding his character John McBain, and Kelly Monaco's, Sam, Michael Easton states in SOD that, "Right now, it's just two people brought together by circumstances". (When the two first meet, there will be a small nod to the actors' past as their alter-egos, Caleb and Livvie from the GH spin-off Port Charles, --something about perhaps they knew each other in a past life). Easton worked with Kelly Monaco his second day on the set of GH and it was like not having been away at all. "You look into her eyes --and it's still the same eyes. She's lovely and such a talented actress ". Awwww. :))) I left the part in with Alexis to better show how they have no knowledge of each other and also because I thought it funny. What can we say? Paris is beautiful! Even as we wandered around aimlessly, we managed to find amazing sights and gorgeous buildings! We climbed the Arc de Triumph and lay in awe of the sparkling Eiffel Tower at night. We also did a bike tour with Fat Bike tours and the hilarious Andre, which was by far the BEST way to see a city! Madrid was such a fun city! We met up with some surprise guests from back home to explore from Plaza Mayor to Puerta Del Sol, the beautiful Royal Palace and the Museum ReinaSofia.
