A remixed Malaysian (Malay, Chinese and Indian) version of the popular Kanye West & Estelle song "American Boy", specifically composed for the youth of Malaysia. This video takes you on a journey of this beautiful country, from rural to urban, across different landscapes and people. The strong connection between Malaysians of different races and cultures convey a single message of 'united we stand'. We were given the opportunity to pitch for this video and a timeline of only 10 days to shoot, edit and put it on-air on the eve of the Malaysian Independence day. Looking at our vision of the vastness for this video, it looked impossible but with clever production planning and great team work, my team delivered a real gift to all Malaysians on the eve on Merdeka. This is my favourite Malaysian's female singers for the year of 2011.. They are among the best Malaysian's singers that we have.. They have excelled in their own career and some of them have already known outside of Malaysia such as Siti Nurhaliza, Jaclyn Victor and Ziana Zain.. What i like about these beauty with talent singers are they have a different type and tone of voice that make the Malaysia's music varies and unique.. Some of them conquer the Pop genre, and some of them mesmerized in R&B style, and so forth.. So, i dedicate these tribute videos to those who appreciate Malaysia's music so much.. i hope you guys enjoy the video... ^_^
