I grew up surrounded by the exquisite natural teak forests of Nyamandhlovu. I currently live and exhibit my work in Malawi. Through my painting I like to explore my beloved Africa in all its wonderful hues from its bright, electric colours to its softer subtler tones. The first ever pan-continental version of the program featured contestants from 12 African nations: Bruna (Angola), Warona (Botswana), Sammi (Ghana), Alex (Kenya), Zein (Malawi), Stefan (Namibia), Bayo (Nigeria), Abby (South Africa), Mwisho (Tanzania), Gaetano (Uganda), Tapuwa (Zimbabwe), and Cherise (from Zambia), who won the 103-day-long competition and the prize of 100000 US dollars. She was the first woman to win any Big Brother contest staged in Africa.
