Founder of partner organisation PRDO, Robert Egolet has become a familiar face in this community as he oversees the planned implementation of the next stage of development in Mthifu a large aforestation project. Deforestation for charcoal burning, slash and burn cultivation, and tobacco curing has been causing serious soil erosion and environmental degradation in recent years. However Robert met with some community leaders who are leading the charge to reverse this worrying trend.
