their also is this stray dog i found a while ago and he is desiesed because i found him eating a ded dog D: and then weeks later he started itching alot and he now is loosing alot of fur! :( i cant find any vets in macedonia! i did reaserch but its no use, im not aloud to stay by him for a long time (the good thing is that he doesnt seem to mind about his fur falling but others do and im worried!)

www.visitgreece.gr | Setting out with friends on a beautiful morning we head to the suburbs of the town of Siatista, there, where the local people have their grape vines. They produce the Xinomavro variety of grapes, with which they make the famous sweet, liasto wine, resembling the well known Vinsanto of Santorini. Along the road towards Kastoria, we visit the village of Galatini. The people here keep herds of animals and have established a cheese production facility. We end the day at Sisani, an impressive agricultural village known since the ancient times. The local people produce great beans!

The government of Macedonia requested the World Bank's assistance in addressing many of the challenges and constraints in the agriculture sector. Specifically, support was sought to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy to support the agriculture sector, including improving its ability to formulate and implement effective policies and increase effectiveness of public expenditures in an EU-compliant manner. In response to this request, the Agriculture Strengthening and Accession Project (ASAP) was prepared to improve the delivery of government assistance to the agricultural sector in accordance with the European Union's (EU's) pre-accession requirements. The project provides technical and financial assistance to support agricultural growth and rural development while advancing the country's broader strategic development goals of economic development and the EU accession. The project supports setting up the necessary institutional framework compliant with the EU accession requirements and to enable Macedonia's access to the pre-accession assistance. In addition, ASAP finances activities that strengthen the capacity of the Veterinary Department to deliver services that help producers and agro-processors meet new food safety and quality standards. 06.01.2008 The Macedonian Orthodox Christmas celebration begins the evening of January 5th, which is known as kolede. Children go from door to door singing Christmas carols, heralding the birth of Jesus, and receiving fruits, nuts and candy from the people. Later in the evening, the elderly people from the neighborhood gather around a bonfire outside, and engage in a conversation about the past year and the year to come. The following evening is the Christmas Eve, when a traditional oak log (badnik) is brought to the home. This log is cut by the father of the household and his older son, while the table is being set for the Christmas Eve supper (Posna Vechera). The dinner cannot have anything derived from animals, and it cannot be cooked using cooking oil or other types of fat. The traditional dinner usually consists of baked fish. The dinner is the last day of a traditional 40-day Orthodox Lent, which is done in a way to honor the Virgin Mary for carrying baby Jesus. The oak log is cut into three pieces, representing the Holy Trinity, and each piece is brought into the house by the father. A member of the family receives a piece and places it on the fire. As this is done, the son and the father exchange a greeting: "Good evening and happy Christmas Eve" (Dobra Vecher i Vesel Badnik). While the log is being placed on the fire, the mother and the grandmother gather the children together into the room where the dinner is to be served. Each person carries a bundle of straw ...
