That privilege belongs to the Macedonian people who are indigenous to Macedonia and not to the Greeks, Serbians, or Bulgarians who acquired Macedonian lands illegally in 1912, 1913 by an act of war and against the will of the Macedonian people. When the Greeks, Serbs and Bulgarians came to Macedonia in 1912 they found people living there. These people are the ancestors of today´s ethnic Macedonians, the real Macedonians. Many of these Macedonians were exiled and assimilated but many also went underground and remained Macedonian in spite of Greek attempts to eradicate them. Macedonia was never Greek; Greece however was Macedonian at one point in history. While Philip II was recovering from battle wounds, the City States to the south were making alliances and amassing a great army to invade Macedonia. Currently two countries (Greece and The Former Yugoslav Republic Of "Macedonia") are arguing over which of them has the right to consider Alexander the Great as a national hero and which of them is the inheritor of the subsequent Macedonian history. This entire debate started in 1991 when FYROM broke off the former Yugoslavia. They were given the name "The Socialist Republic of Macedonia" by the last dictator of Yugoslavia (Tito). In the eyes of Greece, their name choice can lead to future land claims against its northern province of Macedonia. While this might not be the direct threat at the moment, some things that have come out of this entire debacle was the theft of history (all of Macedonian history, ethnicity, identity, culture, language, and, most importantly, Alexander the Great) by FYROM over the last two decades. Greece argues from the basis of history. They argue that Macedonians are Greek and have always been Greek. In addition, they argue that Alexander the Great was Greek, too. FYROM, claiming he was (their kind of) Macedonian, discredits the history of the Greeks living in true Macedonia (northern Greece), who are already (and always have been) Macedonian. Macedonian historical movie from 1976, original "Najdolgiot pat", directed by Gapo Ivanovski Branko March 1903. The Ottoman Empire is in a process of disintegration. Only Macedonia is not still liberated in the Balkans. The Macedonian revolutionary movement is in full growth. The Turks are trying to keep their last bastion in Europe. The Macedonian people are being exposed to the most severe oppressions as it is due to the revenge of the Turks for supporting and protecting the komiti - Macedonian freedom-fighters. In such a case the Turks besiege a village where a weeding ceremony is taking place. They shoot at the peasants, round them up and most of them are being taken away. More than two hundred people are taken prisoner in the fortress. The Turks sentence them to from 15 to 101 years in prison. Then the prisoners are loaded on a ship and are transported to Asia Minor. On their way through the desert the Macedonians are exposed to various humiliations. A lot of them overeat and die. In October 1908, the prisoners arrive at the place where they are to serve the sentence.

A video about the creation of the spurious Republic of FAKE Macedonia (FYROM). The provocations and historical distortions by the regime of FYROM cannot go unanswered. This video explains how Tito's communist plan to create a new nation using a Greek historical name and slavic population for territorial expansionism led to the creation of FYROM whose propaganda tries to steal history both from Greece and Bulgaria in order to justify its fictional identity. Tito's plan was nothing but a part of a bigger communist plan to create a fake nation and independent Macedonian state by taking parts of Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece (which did not belong to the Soviet block) so that the communist states that were controlled by Stalin could get an exit to the Aegean sea.
