Kaliopi moved to Switzerland for a period but announced her comeback as a solo performer by winning the first place at the Skopje festival in 1996. In 1999 she moved back to FYR Macedonia, with her new album Oboi Me which had been recorded in Switzerland. This album was her last cooperation with Romeo Grill as producer. Kaliopi has recorded nine albums in total, six of them with herself as writer. Each of them won Album Of The Year recognition. She has become one of the leading music artists in the region. Its original title was "The Ohrid Festival of Amateur Folk Songs and Folk Bands". The ceremonial opening took place 20th July 1962 in the town's square. I am an eight-grader at the Jan Amos Komenski elementary school, and I am an A student. When the new school was built, I had the honor to sing the new school hymn. Singing is my greatest love. I go to the music school Ilija Nikolovski Luj, and I take private singing lessons with Prof. Vlado Srbinovski as well. I have performed at several festivals in Macedonia, as well as abroad. 2006 I parformed at the international festival Звездички (Stars), and I won 3rd place for interpreting the song Сама низ Сахара (Through Sahara on my own). 2007 I participated in the National Junior Eurosong Qualifications, and I came in second with the song Мислиш на мене (You thing of me). Afterwards I was asked to join the team performing in Rotterdam Holland, as back-vocal and dancer. I have been to Ukraine on two festivals. In 2007, at the Music Umbrella Festival in Vinnytsia, and in 2008, at the Festival in Mariupol. 2008 was very successful . I took part in many festivals and humanitarian concerts. I was well noticed and accepted, and I met many children from Macedonia and other countries. 2009 in Nesebar, Bulgaria, I took part in the Sun, Joy, and Beauty festival. I am looking forward to visit Ukrain once again, but now I am coming with a huge responsibility to represent Macedonia at the Junior Eurosong Contest.
