Cintia Taylor on the verdict at the Charles Taylor trial
Duration : 84 Seconds

A UN-backed war crimes court will issue the decision in the trial of the former Liberian President Charles Taylor on April 26 2012. Prosecutors allege that the flamboyant warlord-turned-elected president, from the confines of his official mansion in the Liberian capital, armed and supported rebels notorious for hacking off the limbs of their enemies in Sierra Leone's brutal 1991-2002 civil war. Taylor denies 11 charges, which include murder, torture and using child soldiers, and has called his prosecution politically motivated "neocolonialism" aimed at removing him from power in Liberia. Modern-Day LDS Pioneers - Growth of the Mormon Church - 6/8
Duration : 348 Seconds

www.youtube.com is a video describing how to learn more about the Mormon Church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been a presence in Africa since 1853, but for the first 125 years it was established only in southern Africa. Applications by the Church for admittance into central Africa in the 1960s were denied, but those in 1978 were approved, and growth of the Church there has been impressive. From 1853 until 1978 most of the work of the Church in Africa was with European immigrants and their descendants in South Africa and in Northern and Southern Rhodesia (now Zambia and Zimbabwe, respectively). In June 1978, when the First Presidency announced the revelation extending the priesthood to all worthy male members of the Church, the way was opened for the Church to extend its full program to all the nations of Africa. Missionaries were sent to Nigeria and Ghana at the request of many local people who had already studied the Church scriptures and literature and had organized themselves into units that they unofficially called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Church missions were later organized in Zaire, Sierra Leone, Liberia, the Ivory Coast, and Mauritius and Reunion islands. The establishment of the Church in Africa began at a special Church conference in Salt Lake City in August 1852, when President Brigham Young called 106 men to leave their wives in charge of their families, homes, farms, and businesses and go on missions to various ...

Malcolm X on the 'House Negro' and the 'Field Negro'
Duration : 60 Seconds

Malcolm X, then the national representative and minister of Muhammad's Mosque No. 7, New York, of Elijah Muhammad's "race"-centered Nation of Islam (NOI), addressing a public rally in front of "Professer" Lewis H. Michaux's National Memorial African Bookstore, Harlem, May 13, 1961. HARLEM/AFRICAN SQUARE The bookstore, which specialized in books by and about "black" people, was located at 2107 7th Ave., near 125th Street, an intersection known as "Harlem Square," but dubbed "African Square" by black nationalists like Michaux, who identified with Africa and advocated self-determination for African Americans. The store was "highly regarded by scholars and librarians for its comprehensive collection of literature on black and African history and culture" and was "an unofficial cultural center and gathering place for scholars, street-corner orators, politicians and browsers" ("50-year-old bookstore to close in Harlem," The Afro-American [Baltimore], Dec. 14, 1974, p. 8). As Peter Goldman, Malcolm X's best biographer, noted, "from spring to fall the sidewalk nationalists with hip-pocket organizations rain[ed] abuse on whitey and anyone of whatever color who serves him. Malcolm's own sidewalk rallies ... were rather more formal affairs, dressed up with bunting, placards and platform guests and wired for sound" (Peter Goldman, "The Death and Life of Malcolm X," 2d ed. [Urbana: U of Illinois P, 1973, 1979], p. 53). The large sign at left features portraits of 12 "African Chiefs of ...

PITN - The Mystery of Asenath
Duration : 1711 Seconds

One of Israel's greatest heroes, Joseph, rose to power in Egypt. Pharaoh honored him with a Gentile bride, daughter of the high priest of On, the city traditionally called Heliopolis. Her name was Asenath, and she married Joseph. In time, she became the mother of Ephraim and Manasseh. But as an Egyptian priest's daughter with a name dedicated to an idol, she also represents one of the Bible's greatest symbols. In fact, her name is a biblical archetype, the spirit and meaning of which remains alive and well to this day. Historically, it appears in a variety of different guises, but the image she represents is universal, and is venerated in statuary, paintings and literature. Rescued from devotion to an occult priesthood by her union with Joseph, she symbolizes a secret doctrine, and its ultimate defeat by Christ. As we track the historical appearances of the goddess for whom she is named, we discover that she plays an important role in prophecy, and in the direction taken through the march of time, by the leaders of the world order. In Babylon, Assyria, Persia, Greece and Rome, we find her prominent influence. In the Bible, she is the Old Testament "queen of heaven," and the New Testament "Diana of the Ephesians." RYB II - Leave Israel Alone
Duration : 254 Seconds

You can see part 1 by going here: www.youtube.com All USA presidents since UN 242 have supported Israel's right to protect its interest, that is, until May 19, 2011 when Barack Obama, in an official address, gave support to reestablishing the pre-1967 borders between Israel and Palestine. It appears the battle for a settled peace has taken a step backward. The scriptures read: "Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your descendants I will give this land..." (Genesis 12:7) "For all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever." (Genesis 13:15) "And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." (Genesis 17:7-8) The most relevant question is: Could or would Israel's enemies really be satisfied with a return to pre-1967 borders? The answer is a resounding "no" based on their own literature. They will only be satisfied with the complete destruction of Israel. Is President Obama's position to return to pre-1967 borders merely a lack of research and a working knowledge of the deep seated animosity between Jews and Arabs? Or is it a bold step to get Israel into a position of disadvantage? Thus, The world's geopolitical focus is fixated upon this struggling ...
