Baltikum: Estland -- Lettland -- Litauen Geographische Lage - Die drei Baltischen Staaten Estland, Lettland und Litauen liegen an der nordöstlichen Küste der Ostsee. - Alle drei Länder sind zusammen etwa halb so groß wie Deutschland. - Tallinn, die estnische Hauptstadt, befindet sich auf der Höhe Stockholms und 80km südlich von Helsinki. - Lettland liegt gegenüber von Schweden. - Vilnius, die litauische Hauptstadt, ist auf derselben geographischen Höhe, wie Kiel. Klima - Warme Sommer, der Frühling und Herbst sind relativ mild. - Kalte Winter, oft mit starken Schneefällen. - Der Niederschlag ist relativ gleichmäßig über das Jahr verteilt. - Beste Reisezeit: Mai bis September - In den letzten Jahren waren die Sommer sehr warm und trocken. - Trotzdem sollte regenfeste Kleidung im Reisegepäck dabei sein. - Die wärmsten Monate sind Juni, Juli und August. - Das Klima ist maritim-kontinental; im Winter liegen die Temperaturen zwischen -15 und 5°C, im Sommer zwischen 20-30°C. - Die Wassertemperaturen in Flüssen und Seen liegen im Sommer bei etwa 16-18 °C. Поход по реке Огре, Латвия. Часть 2: От Бражских порогов до места, километра 2 ниже Менгели. Излюбленное место туристов на реке Огре - от Эргли до Менгеле (примерно в Менгеле заканчиваются главные перекаты и стремнины). Поскольку в этом походе мы располагали временем 4 дня, сплав продолжился далее. На видео: кадры сплава, характер реки, осмотр окрестностей: поиск Акменьупите (она же Вегерупите), осмотр городища Огрес пилскалнс (Ogres pilskalns) и т.д. Территориально эта часть похода проходит уже по Огрскому (а не Мадонскому, как Бражи) району. Река спокойнее, но до Менгеле встречаются перекаты и стремнины. Celojums Ogres upe. This 138-room palace was designed by the same architect who built the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. The entire Palace is in a constant process of renovation and was pretty spectacular. They sure knew how to live in those days, didn't they?
