(45 minute+ render times aren't fun) The following is my entry to Overclocked Remix's first Music Video Challenge. An idea brought to life by fellow Canadian the Biznut and myself. It had no budget, I auditioned and cast the actors, and I used almost every spare day I had over the course of the last two months making this happen. Despite many setbacks, countless hiccups, and a string of nasty rendering errors I couldn't shake, I'm finally happy with it. All credits at the end. Oh; and for the record... I don't smoke and hated EVERY puff of that damn thing. I just wanted the shot.

In this piece you will see and hear the casting process of the Hmong actors in Thailand for JFS. At that time we were very limited on our choices and who was available. But, everything fell into place and we were able to cast the missing roles. You'll also notice that we had our cast members sit and read the script (table reading), rare in most Hmong film productions. You'll also see that even though most of the Hmong people (actors included) in Thailand and Laos can speak fluent Hmong, the writing and reading (Roman alphabets) is still not commonly used.
