Alright you can check out the video of my trip from Busan to Daegu in South Korea. The trip in total was 420 kms. I rode the #14 highway out of Busan to the #25 all the way to Daegu and went back the same way to Busan. On the trip I checked out the Daegu National Museum, rode a cable car and went to Woobang Land.

Around 100 kilometres off South Korea's southern coast and lapped by the waves of the East China Sea is Jeju Island, an extraordinary holiday paradise situated on a volcanic island with temples, waterfalls, tea plantations and several leisure facilities. In the middle of the north coast is Jeju-Si, the island's capital city. The first thing that catches the eye is Yongdam Rock, that is situated on the city's western periphery. It is an unusual lava formation that resembles a dragon's head. The National Museum features the island's history and culture including the clothing of the first settlers and the boats that first brought them to the island. The nearby fishing village of Haenyed boasts a special attraction, the island's famous female divers. For generations, these courageous women have dived to a depth of 20 metres for shells and seaweed without any breathing apparatus and go for two minutes without breathing. On the western heights of the south coast is the Songaksan Crater, an extinct volcano whose slopes are covered with green vegetation. The steep coast and rocky bay indicate that powerful eruptions once took place there and perhaps the volcano's benign appearance may only be a momentary lapse in the geological history of the island. Jeju Island is a remarkable place and well worth a visit!

Watch Out ! The sharks are attacking! At the end there is an incredible eye to eye look at a shark! Coex Aquarium in Seoul, South Korea is inside a monsterous underground and above ground shopping mall. The aquarium features both sea animals of all types and also a small group of Amazonian Rain Forrest animals. The highlight of the tour is the giant glass aquairum that has a glass tunnel that allows you to walk literally accross the ocean floor with the sharks swimming overhead. Alright you can check out the video of my trip from Busan to Tongyeong in South Korea. The trip in total was 295 kms. I rode the #14 highway from Busan to Tongyeong. On the trip I checked out an undersea tunnel, the famous turtle ship, historic government buildings and many other sites in the city. Each video is a one day trip. I start the day with no plan other than a final destination. By the end of the day I have compiled 2-4 hours of footage on two cameras. An American tourist's independent tour of North Korea in May 2010. This is 2 of 4 Videos total, for almost 5 hrs of footage. North Korea allows a 21st Century visitor to time travel back to China during the Cultural Revolution or to Russia during Stalin. I recommend a visit there to see this bizarre country: it's open to almost everyone and is extremely safe for tourists. The tour Company I used is Young Pioneer Tours. They are not very organized but do offer younger, smaller group sizes which I like. If you are more risk adverse and prefer a well-run, stress free tour company, and can live with an older, larger group size, Koyro Tours, a British owned tour company based in Beijing, is highly recommended and they do a great job. A big disclaimer with these videos: I went as a tourist and this is a propaganda tour. This is not representative of most of North Korea. This is their Disney World I saw: look for real hidden video that is smuggled out of the country before drawing any conclusions. 4/30/2010 Set off from Beijing Train Station to Dandong, China. Train passage to North Korea is the best way to see the countryside and get to know some elite North Korean passengers, without your Govt. minders present. Americans have to fly into the capitol however (unless you have dual citizenship). 4/31/2010 Arrive in Pyongyang by train.
