Listening to the waves on the beach at about 7:30am July 2 2009. I enjoyed my stay at the Novotel Ambassador hotel and came out to take a quick look around before I check out. The Novatel Hotel was very clean and the staff were great. Unfortunitly, I was on tour so stayed just 1 night. The buffet breakfast had alittle more selection than other similar hotels. The bedsheets were fantastic. The beach quality is excellent for building sand castles or simply walking bare footed. Camera is a Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. Notes: 1:00 - my guess is that a drama is being filmed. 1:46 - this BMW dealer sells Mini Coopers 2:40 - throughout Korea, multiple trash/recycle cans are seen. (country serious about recycling) 3:24 - restrooms being remodled. 3:35 - temporary portable restroom are clean.

So my girlfriend and I were searching for the closest motel near the bus stop. It happened to be a sex motel. If you're into sex in Korea, just pick up a hooker and bring her to one of these places - the rooms aren't often occupied for long. We came in our room with five suitcases. Haha. November 20, 2008.

Here is a small sample of pictures from my tour thru JeJu Island in late June 2009. It was hard for me to pick a small sample of pictures that I took during my brief visit to Jeju Do in South Korea. However, I still tried to include pictures of common items (like fire extinguishers, signs, escalators), scenery (12mpix camera = great computer background jpg), and really just about anything that I saw there The audio portion is from the tour bus driver while he was driving us to the various activities. There are alot of different tour packages available depending on your needs. For example, some of the people in the pictures are chinese and vietnamese tourists since those tour buses were visiting the same places at the same time. (also koreans from california may be in some pics) Labels for the pics: (small portion of a busy trip) 0:00 - flew a Korean Airlines 737 from Seoul. Staff were great. (as always) 0:10 - Jeju Island 0:18 - Jeju Airport. 0:20 - Red uniforms are directing traffic. 0:28 - "We love having you here" signs are common. 0:34 - JeJu has alot of different varieties of orange trees. 0:37 - Folklore & Natural History Museum 0:52 - KAL Hotel (from bus driving to next location) 0:55 - Happy town. Chinese acrobatic team. 1:07 - Shila Hotel. 5star hotel. Very nice. 1:21 - control panel for HVAC, Lights, Radio, etc. (don't forget to put the keycard in the slot inside the room or else nothing works) 1:34 - o'sulloc Tea Museum. I landed at 5 AM in Seoul and was taken directly to the school I would be teaching at that morning. The director felt bad that I had been traveling for like 14 hours straight and thought I should relax and rest. My apartment wouldn't be ready till later that day but they set me up in this swank hotel till they picked me up later! Check it out!
