50 Cent is a man of his word! As part of his 'Street Kings' initiative, he traveled to Africa to feed the kids! 50 Cent has been promoting his initiative since last year and has talked about its success over the past several months and how he planned to help fight hunger! So the next step for the hip-hop mogul was a trip to Africa, with an ABC News reporter tagging along, to show the results of his hard work to the world. He visited a refugee camp in Somalia, where he served food to the children, and danced with tons of his enthusiastic young fans in Kenya. 50's been posting his Africa pictures on Twitter and asks everyone to repost them to help spread the word! Malindi (once known as Melinde) is a town on Malindi Bay at the mouth of the Galana River, lying on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is 120 kilometres northeast of Mombasa. The population of Malindi is 117735 (in 1999 census). It is the capital of the Malindi District. Tourism is the major industry in Malindi. The city is exceptionally popular among Italian tourists. Malindi is served with a domestic airport and a highway between Mombasa and Lamu. The nearby Watamu resort and Gedi Ruins (also known as Gede) are located south of Malindi. The mouth of the Sabaki River lies in northern Malindi. The Watamu and Malindi Marine National Parks form a continuous protected coastal area south of Malindi. Safari in Kenya august 2008. Loading this video in your computer can take some time due to the 1 hour large videofile. It's all about visiting several National Parks in Kenya. We saw many mamals, birds and reptiles. Also the big five and an attack of a group of lions on a zebra. The zebra is fast enough to survive. Due to heavy winds there was some difficulty to shoot good underwater footage during snorkling near Wasini island. Futhermore we visited an orphanage and school in Bamburi area. JanB

JUNO Award winners Hedley travel to Kenya to learn how far 50 dollars takes them in their quest to buy the perfect goat and change a family's life forever. While visiting Kenya, the band met and worked alongside community members collecting water in a traditional water walk, bartered for goats in the local market and spent time visiting Free The Children's development projects, helping build a school for kids without access to education.
