People in Kenya love to dance. Every tribe in Kenyan society has their own style of music and ways to dance. Apart from the many traditional styles of music and dancing in Kenyan society Western influences are more and more visible. Through MTV and the Internet people hear about salsa, rock and Western hiphop. Especially in the big cities young people make their way to clubs offering all these kinds of music to dance on. Hiphop is very rapidly becoming on of the most popular genres of music in Kenya. Not only music but the whole of hiphop culture is being picked up by the youth. I heard about a school for breakdancing set up by kids in Buru Buru, one of the better looking suburbs at the Eastern side of Nairobi. During His visit to Nairobi, Kenya, a charitable event was hosted on 16th January 2012 by Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, Shree Swaminarayan Temple Nairobi.
