Meanwhile the car struggles with the difficult terrain and Buddy must take his chances with better offers more likely to go the distance to reach his destination. This is a video of a cool friend's traditional wedding in Almaty Kazakhstan. The wedding was an amazing 12 hours long (the video is a condensed 7 minutes of course) and the food consisted of horse meat and other delicacies~ I mixed in some cool music and hope you enjoy~ By the way, the two met at work and went to dubai for their honeymoon~

Kazakh pop-singer Yerzhan Nurhasenoff (Yerikzhan Nurkhassenov)performs his latest single for Kazakh diaspora. www.geocities.com Yerzhan Nurhasenoff is a unique representative of Kazakh "middle-of-the road" and techno-pop. He started to write songs, play and sing in the band "Sayahat-division" in his hometown Zhansugurov in the late 80's after graduating from the University of Taldykorgan. "Sayahat" means "Journey", so the name of the band was indicating that the guys liked to travel (they liked to go to Europe and South Eastern Asia). The band was bilingual (Kazakh, English) and was working under the influence of European dance music and "high-energy pop" (like Bad Boys Blue, Chyp-Notic, DJ Bobo, Sash! and others). Being very persistent in becoming famous, Yerzhan left the band in 1995 and moved to Almaty. He won a TV contest (Kazakhstan 1) and made his initial success in 1995 with the song "Tears From My Eyes", one of the two English songs included in his first album "Alystaghy shanyrak (Faraway Shelter), the production of which was inspired by this success. The next album "Altyn kala" (The Golden City) was released in 1997 (in Kazakh). The song "Suikti Aru" ("My Beloved Beauty") is dedicated to his wife Margaret Wu Nurhasenoff (A British citizen of Chinese origin). "Suikti Aru" opens Yerzhan's last album named after this song, which became a hit in Kazakhstan and abroad.. Astana (Kazakh: Астана / Astana / أستانا), formerly known as Akmola (Kazakh: Ақмола / Aqmola, until 1998), Tselinograd (Russian: Целиноград, until 1992) and Akmolinsk (Russian: Акмолинск, until 1961), is the capital and second largest city (after Almaty) of Kazakhstan, with an officially estimated population of 708794 as of 1 August 2010. It is located in the north-central portion of Kazakhstan, within Akmola Province, though administrated separately from the province as a federal city area. Town planning Astana can be divided largely into a few different areas. North of the railway line, which crosses Astana in an east-west direction, are industrial and poorer residential areas. Between the railway line and the river Ishim is the city center, where at present intense building activity is occurring. To the west and east are more elevated residential areas with parks and the new area of government administration to the south of the Ishim. Here many large building projects are underway; for example, the construction of a diplomat quarter, and a variety of different government buildings. By 2030, these quarters are to be completed. The original plans for the new Astana were drawn up by the late Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa. Astana's current chief planner, Vladimir Laptev, wants to build a Berlin in a Eurasian style. Karaganda-Astana Susie is having a day off today so it's my turn to stun you with my take on the visual delights etc. It was only a short drive today, 242ks, so we were able to have a leisurely breakfast and wait for the day to warm up a bit before setting off. The very cold breeze had gone so it was quite nice in the sunshine, with another brilliantly fine day and unlimited visibility. The landscape changed to green again as we proceeded north but in any direction you looked were derelict mines, industrial sights and collective farms in ruins. A bit dismal but it's also nice to see new farming ventures replacing the old. We saw the biggest paddock of wheat growing that either of us had ever seen, and there was a lot of it all the way here. The Scrap Dealers have plenty to work with. I don't think I've ever seen so much rusting machinery laying about. The road was excellent and 4 lanes in places, but it does make it hard to slow down when they have a 40k limit on a dual carriageway. Yes, we got 'pinged' and we are now looking forward to the border to see how good they are at collecting the fine. It was a fair cop this time although we were only doing what all the locals do. The one in China was less than a fair cop. So ...
