Their name comes from the words "Foxy!" and "misc", short for "miscellaneous".[citation needed] The members of Foxxi misQ were chosen from NTV's Uta Star audition, which sought to find new members for a "Wild & Sexy" vocal and dance unit. Each girl is described as a different part of the trio: CHIE is the "cool" one, YU-A goes by her own pace, and DEM is "simple" and "innocent". Foxxi misQ does not have a leader, and the positioning of the members changes for each single. Normally with three-person units, one person becomes the face of the group and the other two are merely eye candy or back-up dancers. I stumbled on this rare video of Mayumi Itsuwa online which she sang live in a medley. (She sang the first stanza and refrain only and went on with the next song). I was wanting for more. Then I found Mayumis complete audio version of this song (Dakishimete-Embrace Me Close or Hold Me Tight) in one streaming audio site. Being an avid fan of Mayumi Itsuwa, I decided to make a project by combining those audio and video. With a little tweaking and manipulation of the video (timing of studio recording is different from her live performance with orchestra) I completed this edited vid and I hope you like it. The live orchestra audio was deleted and replaced with her (Mayumi Itsuwa) commercial studio recording to give an impression of a complete live performance of this song. However, the audio quality is not as good as the commercial one from CD or DVD because its source was from streaming record. Japanese all-girl experimental punk band Ni Hao formed in Kyoto where the three initial members, twin bassists Yukari and Ariko, and drummer Reo, were at university, releasing their first homemade cassettes in 2000. The band carved a distinctive visual image for themselves, with each member adopting a color-coded stage name (Yukari Blue, Ariko Red, and Reo Green) and dressing accordingly when playing live. From the start, their sound drew comparisons with fellow Kansai experimentalists OOIOO, who shared Ni Hao's playful yet nonsensical vocal utterances from numerous female singers, as well as their often avant-garde song constructions, which had their roots in Yukari's studies of modern classical music. In 2001, Ni Hao and Fukuoka all-girl punk band Garorinz put out a self-released split album, and a CD-R EP in 2003, but it wasn't until 2004 that the group made their official debut, with the mini-albums Blue and Red both released in the same year on indie label UMMO Records and produced by Folk Enough's Inoue Shuichi, who had earlier recorded the debut album of Yukari's other band, Limited Express (Has Gone?). Jackson was born in Oklahoma, but her father Tom -- himself a country singer who quit because of the Depression -- moved the family to California in 1941. He bought Wanda her first guitar two years later, gave her lessons, and encouraged her to play piano as well. In addition, he took her to see such acts as Tex Williams, Spade Cooley, and Bob Wills, which left a lasting impression on her young mind. Tom moved the family back to Oklahoma City when his daughter was 12 years old. In 1952, she won a local talent contest and was given a 15-minute daily show on KLPR. She had a huge hit with 'Eat You Up' in Japan, becoming one of the two biggest ever Western language records to be successful in the Orient, selling about ten million copies there. Angie recorded in the 1980s under many names, and her voice appears on countless dance hits. She worked with me many times, for Passion, Nightmare, and an entire album on Hot Records in the early 1990s. 5-member Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. Its five members specialize in the areas of dance, a cappella, acting, and pop with an R&B vibe. The group has gained popularity in South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan and other East Asian countries. In Korea, they are better known as Dong Bang Shin Ki (often abbreviated as DBSG or DBSK) while the Japanese equivalent of the group's name is Tōhōshinki (abbreviated as THSK). Fanmade tribute to china+family~ i do like china+family love xD what really inspired me to put this together is actually the song. especially the singer's voice made me think of china from hetalia (in like a low serious way or something oo) this songs really old...like a couple of decades. its called "(i) love my country, but (i) love women even more" i roughly translated the lyrics to their intended meaning/feel since chinese is such a yoda-ish language lol i had to ask my mum on some parts but she was glad to tell me since she loves this song and had actually taught it to me as the second song i had ever learnt in my life (yes i was a chibi back then and seriously i didnt understand much word but now it has a special place on my mp3 hehehe) edit: referring back to the yoda-ish language thingy, my cousin has just kindly told me that the actual lyrics for the spoken part of "for this cup who is to pay?" is actually "who is going to pay for this life (of mine)" as in a company of mine. note: -literal translation for "our interactions may have stopped, but our bonds still remain" = "the lotus roots have been cut, but its nerves are still connected" -singers actually taiwanese, a girl, but shes singing from "china's" pov (it was the theme song for an oriental china drama tv series according to my mum) -my first amv be gentle pls @_@ ALL PICTURES BELONG TO THEIR RESPECTFUL AUTHOR/OWNER enjoy~
