| | Iranian Farsi radio stations in Israel: RadisIN Radio broadcasts to Iran like Israel's state radio Duration : 101 Seconds As Western leaders take an increasingly tough stance on Iran and warn of a potential military strike against the country's nuclear enrichment facilities, a group of Iranian-Israelis are transmitting a different message over the airwaves. RadisIN Radio, a private, Farsi-language station based in Tel Aviv, airs Iranian music, poetry, and current affairs programmes, aiming to spread peace between the Israeli and Iranian people. According to Shay Amir, CEO of RadisIN, the station broadcasts via Internet and cable TV, and 100000 listeners tune in daily, including some Iranians from inside Iran. The radio station says that despite the very slow speed of Internet inside Iran and web filtering by the Iranian authorities, listeners from various locations inside Iran are logging on to the website of the radio station in order to listen to the programmes. Amir also said the radio station takes calls from Iranian listeners, who often criticise their regime and express tolerance for Israel. RadisIN is not the only Israeli radio targeting Iranians. Israel's state-run radio station has been broadcasting in Farsi for 50 years from a modest studio off a narrow Jerusalem alleyway. Shay Amir said, "We got a political show which explains to the people in Iran, that we, the people in Israel are a peaceful nation and not an enemy or the 'little devil' as we are described by the Iranian regime. You hear Ahmadinejad in his own words, crystal clear, you hear him say 'What is Israel?' He doesn't ...
