Let me introduce you to Marty, my new horse! :) just a raw clip of him arriving at his new home :) Marty is a 16.2hh, irish sport horse, 7yo! Currently competing BN in bsja and hunted in ireland for the past 3 years! :) I have a good feeling about him and hope the future is bright! Never been XC, so will give that a go! He is such a good lad, laid back, and settled in SO well! also never ever been in a trailer, and walked straight on and travelled like a dream! And was in the trailer for 2hours 15minutes! and was quiet as a mouse! I will make more of a video when i have more clips! Want to say a quick BIG thankyou to my good friend, Issy King for letting me borrrow her trailer and travel boots! want to quickly say, George has settled in his new home SO well and bonded with the other horse and is doing great! he will always be my number one! The city of Pripyat was once considered the finest place to live in the whole of the Soviet Union. A thoroughly modern city, it was built in 1970 to house the workers of the new Chernobyl nuclear power plant and their families, and was once a happy home to 50000 people. In the aftermath of the accident in Chernobyl in April 1986, the residents of Pripyat were instructed to pack one suitcase and told they would be returning in three days. One thousand buses were drafted in from all across the Soviet Union to take the residents of Pripyat out of their now highly contaminated homes. They never returned. 21 years later Pripyat stands empty, a ghost town deep within the Chernobyl exclusion zone, the last remaining Soviet city. This haunting experimental film by Irish artist Nicky Larkin takes you inside Pripyat and examines the relationship between time, nature and culture, in a city that will never be lived in again. This massive cruise ship was in Cobh, Co. Cork, on the 26 Aug 2007, I went down for a ship visit tour for travel agents. It was there for one night, after that it was heading for Southamton in England, then it was sailing to Scandinavia. One thing I forgot to say in the video was that the crew were all very friendly, any crew we passed were all full of smiles and very pleasent.
