"Irish Architecture Now" is part of Imagine Ireland, Culture Ireland's year of Irish arts in America in 2011, and is curated by Raymund Ryan, Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh and produced by Irish Architecture Foundation, Dublin.

The courts here are full individual ITF international size courts. The court lighting is also to full international standard. Sustained light levels of 1076 Lux are achieved on each court. Video shows various speakers including Ann O' Connor President of Tennis Ireland. A good day was had by all at the event and everyone in the town of Tullow is excited to be able to play tennis there again.

This is a short film made by students on the BA Hons Architecture course at the University of Ulster, Belfast, Northern Ireland. This short film captures what Architecture is to the students of the Undergraduate course. It attempts to reflect the culture studying architecture within a traditional "Art College' can have. Even the creation of this short film is testament to the influences of other design disciplines within the Belfast city campus . It was created by the students during the OUTside Project, which is a week long set of activities and projects that 1st & 2nd Yr students undertake 'outside' their normal modules.

Architecture is not a physical thing, it is the experience of a designed space. Architects don't make buildings, they make drawings and images that are interpreted as physical objects. We make 'places' for interaction and exchange, for living and working, for play and entertainment. Inherent in any building design is the user experience, our perception of space and the passage of time. It is not about buildings, it's about people. At Architecture Republic we are not overly concerned with the 'image' of our built environment but rather the way it is used, the ergonomics of materials and the dynamics of space, the power of people to influence space and time. Born in Fez, Morocco and moved to France at an early age. He graduated from PUC Campinas, Brazil in 1998 and UCD, Dublin in 2002 with a B.Arch. He lived and worked as an architect in various countries including UK, France, Brazil and Ireland before setting up Architecture Republic in Dublin 2005.
