Shooting my Savage 10 .308 with mcgowan 20" barrel with 208amax's at 2600fps. Target is 1000 yards, winds were maddening, 7-8mph where I was shooting, but wicked fast downrange in places. Bullet Flight time is 1.55 seconds. Still has about 950lbs/ft of energy remaining at that range. The vertical dispersion of the round wasn't bad at all, however the horizontal was bad with the wind varying so much. Hits were as much as 18" to the left, to 10" to the right. The steel target is 12"x18"x1/2" thick.

Fraud on 'sickness benefits' is said to be running at one fraudster in 200 claims or 0.5% - virtually nil statistically. On the other hand, fraud, or at least dubious expenses practises by MPs runs considerably higher. The Afghan parliament has demanded a public trial of a US soldier who allegedly killed 16 civilians, as the Taliban vows revenge for the deaths. "We seriously demand and expect that the government of the United States punish the culprits and try them in a public trial before the people of Afghanistan," the lower house of parliament said in statement. The parliament called the killings "brutal and inhuman" (kinda like Islam) and declared that "people are running out of patience over the ignorance of foreign forces". The condemnation comes after the US soldier allegedly broke into three homes near a military base in southern Afghanistan before dawn on Sunday. According to the New York Times, 11 of the 16 victims shot dead were in one home and included four girls under the age of six.
