Iraq Genocide by UN Sanctions
Duration : 587 Seconds

Please support www.iacenter.org Iraq UN Embargoes: United Nations and UNICEF estimate that the United Nations sanctions on Iraq resulted in the death of approximately 1.5 million people, including the death of over 500000 children under age of 4. In 2002, a 12 non-governmental organizations study group said that the UN economic embargo against Iraq was flawed because it severely hurt the Iraqi people while sparing the country's leaders. The United States and the United Kingdom used their veto power to prolong the sanctions, bear special responsibility for perpetuating the sanctions against the wishes of the vast majority of the 15-member Security Council. The oil for food program was a joke, if all the money attained from the program was used to buy food, it would have worked out to $170 per year per person. This has been calculated to be 1/4 that needed to feed a dog at the time. Iraq after the US Led Invaision of 2003: A study conducted by the FAFO Institute for Applied Social Science, a Norwegian research group, found in November 2004 that acute malnutrition among Iraqi children between the ages of six months and five years has increased from 4 percent to 7.7 percent since the US-led invasion. The UK Lancet (independent and authoritative voice in global medicine) in July 2006 reported that over 600000 have been killed since the invasion. The UK Government publicly rejected the findings of Lancet until a FOI conducted by the BBC found that the Governments Chief ...

Depleted Uranium - Iraq
Duration : 1262 Seconds

June 1999 The effects of fallout from depleted uranium shells used in the First Gulf War is a matter of controversy. What is the reality of DU pollution in Iraq? In the hospitals of Basra doctors are speaking of a crime against humanity. Flicking though his casebook from the last four years, Doctor Abdul Karin shows pictures of babies born without skin, with over-sized heads and with noses where a mouth should be. Doctors here firmly point the finger of blame at the Allies' use of Depleted Uranium shells during the Gulf War. Over a million rounds of the weapon were fired during the short and decisive round of bombing. Favoured for its armour piercing qualities, a DU bomb penetrates its target with intense radioactive heat, incinerating its victims. "It's ...a flash, bang sort of toaster," describes Nuclear Consultant John Range. Once detonated DU particles remain radioactive for 4000 million years. Irradiated particles travel on the wind polluting water and soil and entering the food chain.

Disappearing Act: $8.7 Billion of Iraq Development Money Missing - Alex Jones Tv
Duration : 303 Seconds

Disappearing Act: $8.7 Billion of Iraq Development Money Missing Kurt Nimmo www.infowars.com July 27, 2010 The Defense Department is unable to account for $8.7 billion of the $9.1 billion in Development Fund for Iraq monies it received for reconstruction in Iraq, reports Federal News Radio today. On September 10, 2001, Rumsfeld announced $2.3 trillion went missing in Iraq. The Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) issued a report today that claims a "weakness" in the DoD's "financial and management controls left it unable to properly account for $8.7 billion of the $9.1 billion in DFI funds." The money vanished "because most DoD organizations receiving DFI funds did not establish the required Department of the Treasury accounts and no DoD organization was designated as the executive agent for managing the use of DFI funds," explains the Inspector General. "The breakdown in controls left the funds vulnerable to inappropriate uses and undetected loss." DFI revenue is generated from export sales of petroleum, petroleum products, and natural gas from Iraq, and surplus funds from the United Nations Oil-for-Food Program as well as frozen Iraqi assets, according to SIGIR. If you believe the money was simply lost through shoddy accounting practices, you may also be interested in a bridge I have for sale in Brooklyn. Simply put, the money was pilfered. You may recall then Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld's admission on September 10, 2001, that the Pentagon lost ...
