IRAN FREE PEGAH. PLEASE SIGN THE PETITIONS(info)
Duration : 238 Seconds

www.gopetition.com www.ipetitions.com HRANA News Agency -- On Sunday, July 10, 2011, four men and one woman entered Pegah Ahangarani's house at 8:00pm, taking her and some of her personal belongings into custody. At the time of her arrest, the actress was home alone. Pegah Ahangarani was initially detained and held by Iran's law enforcement intelligence apparatus until last night when she was released into the custody of the Intelligence and Security Organization of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. Quoting an informed source, Deutsche Welle reported that Pegah Ahangarani contacted her mother briefly and was only able to say that she neither knew where she was nor what her crime was. Pegah Ahangarani was scheduled to travel to Germany from July 4-12 to observe the events at the FIFA Women's World Cup in order to write an editorial for Deutsche Welle. One day before her trip to Germany, Iran's Intelligence Agency contacted Pegah Ahangarani and warned her not to go to the airport. Otherwise, she would be arrested there. Consequently, Pegah Ahangarani cancelled her plans to travel to Germany. Pegah Ahangarani's last contact with her family was on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at about noon. Since then because there was no news from the actress, her family reported her disappearance.

Bé Omid é Didar (Good Bye) - Absent Iranian wins Cannes directing prize
Duration : 81 Seconds

CANNES, France — Iranian dissident Mohammad Rasoulof won the Cannes prize for best director in the Un Certain Regard section Saturday but could not attend because of "Kafkaesque" authorities at home. Rasoulof's wife received the prize for "Be Omid e Didar" (Goodbye) on his behalf after mounting speculation about whether the director, who is appealing a lengthy jail sentence for making films, would be allowed to leave Iran. "I thank the crew and those who helped this film get here, the festival and the jury," said Mrs Rasoulof, wearing a grey silk coat and with a loose headscarf over her hair. The jury headed by Serbian director Emir Kusturica gave the award for the film which, ironically, tells the story of a young Tehran lawyer trying to get a visa to leave Iran. A court in December sentenced Rasoulof, along with fellow director Jafar Panahi, to six years in jail and barred him from making films for 20 years. The two were released on bail pending an appeal but banned from travel abroad. Rasoulof's lawyer Iman Mirza-Zadeh said earlier this week that he received official confirmation that the ban on him leaving Iran had been lifted. Cannes organisers have said it was made in "semi-clandestine conditions," but his lawyer said Rasoulof, 37, had received official permission to make the feature. But the film's French distributor, James Velaise, told AFP on Friday that Rasoulof was going through a Kafkaesque nightmare in Tehran and would not be in Cannes. "Things are too ...

Three couples include Sepideh and her husband Amir who have a little daughter. Shohreh and her husband Peiman who have two children including their little son Arash. Nazi and her husband Manoochehr are the third family. The trip is planned by Sepideh, who brought along her daughter's kindergarten teacher Elly in order to introduce her to Ahmad, a friend who has divorced his German wife and just came back from Germany for marriage. They all go to the villa that Sepideh has booked from Tehran, but the rural woman in charge tells them that the owners of the place are coming back tomorrow, so they can't stay there. The old woman suggests that they stay in a deserted villa that needs a lot of repairs. There is no signal for the cell phone and they have to go to the old woman's house in order to make calls. Sepideh lies to the old woman about the relationship between Elly and Ahmad: she says they're married and are there for their honey moon. Elly is a little shy, but she begins to feel attracted to Ahmad, who seems to feel the same way. She calls her mother and lies to her saying that she's with her co-workers at the sea-side. She says she will go back to Tehran the following day.As the outing progresses ...

Carlos Queiroz : The new coach of Iran ?
Duration : 439 Seconds

Interview with former Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz at Tehran aiport and a short review about his football career. PTV - Director of Iran's Football Federation (IFF) Ali Kaffashian says Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz will probably take the helm of the Iranian national soccer squad. The former Real Madrid boss is to travel to the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Sunday to hold negotiations with Kaffashian, Goal.com reported on Saturday. If the two sides reach an agreement, Queiroz will lead the Iranian outfit for the next three years with an annual salary of about two million dollars. Queiroz has won several awards as a coach in junior levels, and he has been fairly successful at senior and club levels. He is considered the discoverer of the Portuguese "Golden Generation" in the early 1990s, which include Luis Figo and Rui Costa. The 57-year-old coach was Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant manager at the English club Manchester United for a long time. In July 2008, he left Old Trafford to become the head coach of the Portuguese national football team. Queiroz was sacked by the Portuguese Football Federation in September 2010 after Portugal's poor start to its Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. Iran faces Russia in a warm-up match at the Sheikh Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, on February 9.

Iran is mass-producing a ballistic missile which can travel at more than three times the speed of sound and hit targets on the high seas, a top commander said on Monday. Commander Mohammad Ali Jafari, who heads the elite military force, the Revolutionary Guards, said the missile had a range of 300 kilometres (185 miles). Gingrich: No such thing as Palestinians + Iran, Gaza Updates (Mike at his best)
Duration : 686 Seconds

Israel is desperate to start a war, they apparently have started Cast lead II in Gaza. The soldiers intruded into the buffer zone... it resulted in violence that now its brought in air strikes, the Palestinians are fighting back. Israel's saying "HOW DARE THEY FIGHT BACK! LOOK THEY'RE BEHAVING BADLY AGAIN!" Well yeah! You started shooting at them. Israel's trying to restart the war in Lebanon. Israel is saying they are bombing 'Hamas training camps,' Hamas is the legitimate government of Gaza and Palestine. What Israel is bombing are SCHOOLS. We have photos from the last Castled where Israel was dropping white phosphorus onto Palestinian schools. That's what Israel means when they call it a Hamas training camp. YEAH! Hamas runs them! They are training the kids to read, write, do art, music, learn history... and that's whats going on over here. Meanwhile Newt Gingrich is out there saying there is no 'Palestine' as a state. It was part of the Ottomon Empire! and the Palestinian people have just been invented out of nothing... they're just ARABS... they are part of the Arab community and they should just go some place else in Arabia. Once again Newt Gingrich is proving first of all that he's a whore for Israel... and that he is utterly ignorant of history because specific references to "Palestine" date back nearly five hundred years before "the time of Jesus." In the 5th Century BCE, Herodotus, the first historian in Western civilization, referenced "Palestine" numerous ...
