The old woman suggests that they stay in a deserted villa that needs a lot of repairs. There is no signal for the cell phone and they have to go to the old woman's house in order to make calls. Sepideh lies to the old woman about the relationship between Elly and Ahmad: she says they're married and are there for their honey moon. Elly is a little shy, but she begins to feel attracted to Ahmad, who seems to feel the same way. She calls her mother and lies to her saying that she's with her co-workers at the sea-side. Wide expanses in this predominantly Kurdish region where people live a subsistence existence. Growing grains, grasses, herding sheep and cattle. Houses in this region of Anatolia are constructed of blocks with sod roofs, built in the same manner for 9000-10000 years. Interesting. Iran's New Year starts on the first day of spring, and is celebrated with a 2 week holiday. For Iranians Eid is a time of renewal in every way. The exact second the New Year starts is calculated, and even if that's the middle of the night, people stay up munching on fruit and nuts, to be awake for the canon blast. Some choose to be in a specific place for the historical moment. Some visit the graves of loved ones, or the resting places of Iran's war martyrs. Iran's New Year dates back to pre-Islamic times, but after Iranians adopted Islam more than a millennium ago, people added religious rituals to their Eid celebrations. Religious sites are flooded at New Years, and people recite prayers in the hope of starting off the New Year on a positive note. Before spring, people spring clean their houses and after ringing in the New Year, dress up and go visiting relatives and friends, starting from the most senior. After renewing family ties and paying their respects to their elders, a lot of people hit the road. A sea of cars make beelines for the highways, as people take advantage of the spring weather and time off work to go on holiday. Office workers have 5 days off work and children 2 weeks off school. In short Eid is all about people getting out visiting others, to travel and reconnect with nature, and so is this episode of Iran Today.

Iran has test-fired a surface-to-surface cruise missile in a naval drill, after the country threatened to close the strategic Strait of Hormuz, the passageway for one-sixth of the world's oil supply. The missile, called "Ghader," or "Capable" in Arabic, was test-fired on Monday, according to Iranian State TV. An earlier version of the same cruise missile had a range of 124 miles (200 kilometres) and could travel at low altitudes.
