This is my experience to teach middle school students in Busan, South Korea on Indonesian culture. I think I have talked too much in front of them since I was nervous thinking whether or not they have fun with the class. Indonesian Culture Exhibition (ICE) 2011 will be performed on 101th — 11st March 2011. ICE is an annual exhibition and performance from Indonesian Student Association of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). Theme of this year event is Indonesia in Wonderful Diversity with Indonesian Archipelago as the logo. This year, the committee also provides some competitions to encourage International and Taiwanese students joining this workshop, namely Singing Indonesian Traditional Song, Dancing Indonesian Traditional Dance, and also Playing Indonesian Traditional Instruments. The winner of each competition will be given opportunity to take part in Indonesian Cultural Art Performance on the 11st March 2011.

A journey rute by jeep was started from Solo passing Bromo Mojogedang forest, some waterfall of Mount Lawu steep of Karanganyar region. Tracking from Tawangmangu plateau passing some villages and stopped by at Sekipan camping ground to see folk arts, a reog dance performed by Pancot villagers and enjoy the Grojogan Sewu waterfall and fauna such as monkeys. Stay to walk to visit Candi Sukuh (Temple of Sukuh) passing a lovely view such paddy field and forest. When arriving at Candi Sukuh situated at Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar region, we could enjoy the beauty of historical site, each its ornament and iconography having philosophical values as if we was coming into the past time. Pada penggunaan masa kini, keris lebih merupakan benda aksesori (ageman) dalam berbusana, memiliki sejumlah simbol budaya, atau menjadi benda koleksi yang dinilai dari segi estetikanya. Penggunaan keris tersebar pada masyarakat penghuni wilayah yang pernah terpengaruh oleh Majapahit, seperti Jawa, Madura, Nusa Tenggara, Sumatera, pesisir Kalimantan, sebagian Sulawesi, Semenanjung Malaya, Thailand Selatan, dan Filipina Selatan (Mindanao). Keris Mindanao dikenal sebagai kalis. Keris di setiap daerah memiliki kekhasan sendiri-sendiri dalam penampilan, fungsi, teknik garapan, serta peristilahan. It is in the province of West Nusa Tenggara. Sumbawa is 15448 km² (three times the size of Lombok) with a population of around 1.5 million. It marks the boundary between the islands to the west, which were influenced by religion and culture spreading from India, and the region to the east that was not so influenced. Four principalities in western Sumbawa were dependencies of the Majapahit Empire of eastern Java. Because of Sumbawa's natural resources it was regularly invaded by outside forces - Japanese, Dutch, Makassarese. The Dutch first arrived in 1605, but did not effectively rule Sumbawa until the early 20th century. The Balinese kingdom of Gelgel ruled western Sumbawa for a short period as well. It was also home to the Sultanate of Bima. Historical evidence indicates that people on Sumbawa island were known in the East Indies for their honey, horses[1], sappan wood for producing red dye[2], and sandalwood used for incense and medications.
