The architecture of Islamic mosques and tombs is an invaluable treasure of world heritage. Many countries have taken inspiration from this tradition. It is well know that the most famous Islamic monument of the world, the Taj Mahal, is in India. What is not equally well known is that the second oldest mosque in the world is also in India, in Kerala. In fact, India has a vast and rich architectural heritage of Islam, from Kerala in the South till Kashmir in the North, from Tripura in the East till Gujarat in the West. This film by noted photographer Benoy Behl showcases how these monuments are a great treasure of India's culture and how many of them are recognized as World Heritage Monuments. The confluence of local talent with inspirations from Iran, Arabia, and Central Asia has also been highlighted in this film. These mosques, tombs, madrassas, palaces and fortresses are a beautiful and unique treasure of the heritage of Islamic architecture.

The Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL) (Marathi: वांद्रे वरळी सागरी सेतू), officially the Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, (Marathi: राजीव गांधी सागरी सेतू), is a cable-stayed bridge with pre-stressed concrete viaduct approaches, which links Bandra and the western suburbs of Mumbai with Worli and central Mumbai, and is the first phase of the proposed West Island Freeway system. The Rs. 1600 crore ($ 400 million approx.) project of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) was executed by Hindustan Construction Company, with design and project management by DAR Consultants. The bridge was dedicated to the public on 30 June 2009 by Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, although only 4 of 8 lanes are in service. The Sea Link reduces travel time between Bandra and Worli from 4560 minutes to 7 minutes. The link has an average daily traffic of around 37500 vehicles per day, about half the pre-opening estimate of 70000 The Bandra Worli Sea link project is a part of the Western Freeway Sea Project, which, in turn, is a part of a larger proposal to upgrade the road transportation network of greater Mumbai. He has been at various times of his life an anesthetist, a nurse, a missionary and an architect. He served in the Second World War in the Friends Ambulance Unit and lived for four years in isolation in remote China taking care of lepers. After a meeting with Gandhiji he was convinced to come to India, initially as the chief architect of the Mission to Lepers building leper homes throughout India. He has since lived in the foothills of the Himalayas building hospitals and schools and in the tribal areas of Vagamon in Kerala before finally settling down in the city of Trivandrum.
