Suppressed American History First hour guest, researcher Xaviant Haze talked about some of the suppressed history of America, including how explorer Amerigo Vespucci described seeing giants while charting the Caribbean islands. He also contended that Columbus wasn't the first explorer to visit America, but was actually using ancient Phoenician maps, and that Meriwether Lewis of the Lewis & Clark Expedition had been murdered. Unorthodox researcher Michael Cremo discussed his continuing work in forbidden archeology-- studying objects that demonstrate the idea of extreme human antiquity. The notion that humans similar to us lived millions of years ago is written about in ancient Sanskrit texts from India, which interestingly also describe vimanas-- flying craft that resemble accounts of modern day UFOs. One Sanskrit text tells of a vimana, a metal craft with energy beam weapons, which attacked a huge city in India 5000 years ago. Other vimanas were akin to "mind ships" that were made of subtle energies and could travel to different dimensions, he added. Cremo detailed the discovery of Reck's Skeleton found in 1913 in Olduvai Gorge in Africa. It was an anatomically modern skeleton embedded in layers of rock that date back up to 1.7 million years ago. This provides evidence "that over a million and half years ago humans like us were existing," he said.
